南国・鹿児島県指宿市、池田湖畔に広がる菜の花畑を撮影しました。

九州最大のカルデラ湖「池田湖」と、薩摩富士と呼ばれる開聞岳を背景に、一面の黄色い菜の花が絨毯のように咲き誇る光景です。指宿の温暖な気候が生み出す、日本でも早い春の訪れを体感できるスポットとなっています。

【見頃について】
例年12月下旬～翌年2月上旬が最適な鑑賞時期。日本国内で最も早期に菜の花が見頃を迎えるエリアのひとつとされており、ドライブ、サイクリング、ジョギングコースとしても多くの観光客や地元の方々に愛されています。

【Peak Viewing Season】
