I just have to get to my destination I’ll think about what to do when I arrive Tears… I can sleep in either direction The bed is very spacious My socks are dry My clothes were dry too. I still can’t bend over to put on socks… The weather has been very bad since this morning I’m going to leave a little late The walk is short today, so there’s no need to go early. Thankfully, my senior had requested breakfast for me at the accommodation. There was no introduction at breakfast It’s 7:39 AM now It’s been a really long time since I’ve been walking at this time Walk quickly to your my destination It takes about 4 hours to get there The problem is that the accommodation is not open at that time. Even if I arrive early, I will have to sit somewhere and wait with my luggage. Then delay my departure time I think I’ll walk slowly Check the weather conditions and prepare to depart It looks pretty cold in this outfit Because it’s drizzling Gore-Tex jacket Today I’m going from Ronces Valles to a place called Zubiri. This area has good infrastructure 3km 3km、5km 3km, 5km, 5km 3km, 5km, 5km, 5km There are cafes and bars at such intervals. It seems like a little white breath comes out. It feels colder than I thought Cold up to the ears If the temperature seems to drop after walking a little, Wear a scarf I went to Ronces Burgess yesterday and was surprised. There are a lot of Taiwanese people And there are quite a lot of Japanese people. In the past, the overwhelming majority of Asians were Korean. On the 800km pilgrimage route There are about five Japanese people. Five people was a lot Yesterday was the first day I saw five Japanese people only at Ronces Burgess. I think more than 10 Taiwanese people saw it. There were about 30 Koreans. At dinner today, The two Asians sitting across from me were also Taiwanese. I didn’t have any particular conversations When I see Taiwanese people I always remember the time I walked around Taiwan. Thanks to their warmth for 68 days It was possible to walk around Taiwan One of the most vivid memories of my life is walking around Taiwan. Here and elsewhere When I meet people from Taiwan, I feel grateful to them. I want to give something back to them I don’t know why I feel this way Anyway, My love for Taiwan I would say it’s exceptional Camino de Santiago These people have good manners Sometimes people ring the bell to tell me to get out of the way. Pilgrims interacting with locals? The strange thing is the Spanish, Italians and French. If they stop along the way and start a conversation with someone keep talking while standing Since they are pilgrims, they have a lot of luggage. Carrying that heavy burden Stand up and continue the conversation It’s not meant negatively. I mean that in a good way. I arrived in the quiet village of Burguete. I’ve been to this village before and I’ve stayed there. I had thought that I had a little bit of energy left at the time. I remember passing through a village Isn’t the village of Burguete beautiful? Burguete is a place where Hemingway also stopped. The Spaniards have balconies like that. Decorated with flowers Burguete is very beautiful There’s absolutely no trash It’s very beautiful The sound of birds. I didn’t add this as a sound effect. Real bird sounds This is the lodging where Hemingway is said to have stayed. I’ve shown this in a video before, but here’s the Hemingway sign. Suddenly, the number of pilgrims increased. There are more pilgrims on bicycle than on foot Is there such a situation? Too many bikes In such bright light This is the first time I’ve traveled from my starting point to my destination. There are many pilgrims It’s a sight I’ve never seen before Peaceful I’ve already walked 5km I’m feeling very good up until now That means you walked 5km in 1 hour and 20 minutes. I walk slower than before Because I walk slowly I’m glad to be able to see scenery I’ve never seen before. It’s good to have the space to shoot many subjects. One of the reasons I used to walk faster If I have not booked the accommodation Pilgrims may be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. There were times when I walked too fast because of that impatience. The other thing is that 800km feels very vague. Because of the feeling of “Can I really get there?” I was in a hurry to close the distance I think there was a bit of a rush. But this time I have booked a lodging. There is no psychological anxiety Not at all The uphill climb begins now But the climb here isn’t that long. If I climb slowly, I won’t sweat as much. I don’t think I need to get changed yet. I stayed there on my last pilgrimage The town of Espinal comes into view I don’t know what this is A shelter? A wine cellar? The scenery here looks familiar That was only two years ago. How physically fit was I at that time? I crossed the Pyrenees and came here (in one day) I can still do it if I want to, though. I don’t think it would have come this far because it’s reckless. It seems like a lot of people make mistakes here. There are unnecessary arrows drawn I thought I’d take a rest at the bar in front of me. I’m feeling fine so I don’t think I need to go. There is a bench nearby I’m going to sit here for a bit and take off my jacket. I haven’t sweated that much yet My clothes aren’t wet My pants seem to have gotten a little looser in just one day. It’s not my imagination, it really feels that way Have my pants gotten looser? Did I lose weight? Anyway, eat well and walk Walk The temperature is perfect for walking now It’s not too cold or too hot, it’s very comfortable. I can’t even feel the humidity I’m walking through a very different environment than I was yesterday. A road on the pilgrimage route where large freight vehicles pass There are times when you have to cross without a crosswalk. In such cases, special care is required The pilgrims before me were walking this dirt path in sandals instead of shoes. And barefoot If a stone gets in it, it will hurt… I’ve never seen this here Was it there originally? Distance to Santiago: 743km It seemed like there were a lot of pilgrims just now. There are about 3-4 bars People rest there and then go So there are fewer people on the roads Drink a glass of water and go I still have some snacks I bought in France. I’m not hungry enough to eat a snack right now. Water tastes best at times like this Today’s course isn’t particularly difficult. Still, I made it over three or four uphill sections. I’m gradually getting tired I’ve walked more than half the distance so the remaining distance for today is about 9km If I go slowly, I can get there in 2 hours. ?! Some people walk in sandals Where are your shoes? – No shoes? / – No. I had them at the start but got rid of them – Did you get rid of your shoes? / – Yes. My feet hurt when I wear shoes I like your sunglasses It’s like the Matrix Thank you see you again The figure of this pilgrim is very impressive. I was worried about his presence Unfortunately, I couldn’t meet him again. I heard about him from a Korean pilgrim who had met him. Is this him? Sandals in hand – Apparently he doesn’t have a name. / – No name? He doesn’t have a cell phone – Doesn’t he have a cell phone? / – He didn’t have a cell phone either. It’s truly unowned – Was this his luggage? / – There is no bag. There is no Donkey (delivery service) either. Donkeys are expensive here and can’t use them… I’m sweating The uphill climb has begun again The broken stone Because it is laid on the road It’s a bit inconvenient to walk I’m also worried about my feet landing. These stones move The ground is uneven I hear a strange noise I hear the sound of cutting iron Road construction? The road is clear It feels easier to walk in areas where heavy machinery has passed. It’s really easy to walk The area where the heavy machinery passed through was flattened. The road is soft It’s easy to go downhill The defense of today’s destination is right in front of me. The senior has already arrived at the accommodation. By the way My senior is a tour guide for a tour group on the Camino de Santiago. I came personally, not as a guest of the senior And when my senior and I eat together My senior is spending time at work He doesn’t have to eat with me We eat together outside of work Arrived in Zubiri Who is it? – Where is our accommodation? / – There – That lawn there? / – Yeah. This is our room. Don’t become a burden to my seniors I will leave as quietly as possible today as well. thank you Why do you say that when you’re always a burden? Won’t it be a burden today? It’s always a burden It’s good to have towels There is a kitchen so you can make boiled eggs. Boil me an egg There is no washing machine, but there is a clothesline. It was desperate This wasn’t there yesterday I wash my clothes properly The weather is not sunny If it’s this much, I think it will still dry in 4 to 5 hours. Provided it doesn’t rain This is my first time eating local food I’m hungry First, the salad delicious Even vegetables taste good before eating meat I also eat potatoes Freshly made There is a difference in shape It doesn’t seem to be frozen potatoes. Just cut delicious To be honest, it’s not amazingly tasty, but it’s still pretty good. The salad and potatoes here are very tasty. – €15.5 (about 2,780 yen) is cheap / – €15.5? I said my budget today was €5 (about 900 yen) Why did you exceed my budget? (The day I buy food) I ate neatly I came to a small grocery store. They sell eggs 6 pieces €2.3 (about 410 yen) expensive There’s no shop here so it can’t be helped There is a Camino vending machine in Zubiri Prevents blisters socks Vending machines sell products useful on the pilgrimage route On this day, my senior bought me breakfast, which I was grateful for. Before I leave the room, make sure I haven’t left anything behind. Leave the door slightly open The temperature is expected to rise above 30° today. Departure time was moved up by an hour It’s also hard to walk when it’s hot. No short sleeves or shorts I stopped by the bar yesterday and didn’t drink any coffee. I’ll definitely drink it today After walking for about 1.5 to 2 hours There is a decent cafe I had coffee at the bar I went to last time. If I’m hungry, I’ll have an omelet. While walking slowly like this Enjoy the Pilgrimage Route This is the place where I used to sit and rest I was sitting here one day two years ago. It’s not a big deal but I remember it Drinking water and rest areas I’ll change my clothes a bit. My pants keep falling down so I have to take measures. I just took a photo of the person sitting next to me. The impression is very good We’ve been seeing each other since day one He is in a place with nature sitting on a stone Under the shade of a tree He was taking a break, lost in thought. It was good to see that too He was always smiling I haven’t seen him much, so I wonder what will happen in the future. Maybe he’ll always show that smile I have a little to learn I have no facial expression Day 3 on the Camino de Santiago Today I’m walking from Zubiri to a place called Pamplona. Last time, I went to Pamplona in two days. At that time, I walked a lot recklessly. Please consider that walking like this is almost the correct route. Walking 800km in 30 days The most common allocation People who walk fast like me It takes 19 days, 20 days, or three weeks. Usually 4-5 weeks, walking an average of 22-25km per day The most common allocation is to get to the destination This will increase your chances of completing the course Hello Are you scratching your butt? I also use wood sometimes. Bag on bag Is there such a method? Notice The pants used to fit me perfectly until I got here. It’s very loose now and keeps slipping down every time I walk. Did I lose weight? Or did I lose weight after walking about 50km? Did my pants elastic come loose? I just have to get to my destination Let’s come up with a solution when I arrive – Are you Japanese? / – I’m Korean. – Are your legs okay? / – I’m okay. and you? bye bye She spoke to me with a warm smile. thank you Buen Camino There is a trash bag here This is clearly the kindness of the locals. thank you Green Tunnel There is a bar where I plan to rest. On the 800km pilgrimage route It is one of the bars that attracts the most pilgrims at one time. coffee… – Is it tasty? / – No. This is not a place that sells on taste. Still, it’s okay The weather is nice today Talking behind my back “Did you sleep well last night?” I asked, and she replied, “It was terrible.” “It was the worst night of my life.” They are talking about that The roads are really not that good I stopped off at a bar 10km down the road for a coffee. The sun has risen but the temperature is not very high. This outfit seems just right now The road to Pamplona is the road to downtown Roads like this often appear After a while, you will enter a busy area and have to cross a crosswalk. It’s probably been two days since I last crossed the street. It’s been three days After a while the temperature rises to 33°. I took off my jacket Today I’m going to an apartment It would be nice if you could do laundry there. I haven’t washed this for three days. I didn’t wash it for three days, not even once. Nice to see you again How are you? See you Buen Camino This is a Spanish guy who asked me to share my channel with him. He’s from near Madrid. Walking in his own country Now I’m heading to Pamplona How would I describe Pamplona? You will all remember Blocking the narrow alley Release the bull A crowd of people wearing red scarves and white clothes runs ahead The festival is held in Pamplona There is also a cafe where Hemingway went. I don’t know any Korean restaurants. There is a Chinese restaurant And there are places where you can buy Korean ramen. There is a very large cathedral I’m walking towards it now The weather and sky are great It’s about an hour until I reach the accommodation where I’ll be staying today. It’s not a place that feels like a pilgrimage route. I need to walk around the city Yesterday I ate a Spanish meat dish. Today I arrive in Pamplona I’m wondering where to go My senior will cook stir fried pork. Luckily I eat Korean food all the time. One of my videos is a 300km trek in the UK. When I walked the Coast to Coast Walk My senior also cooked stir-fried pork at that time. He brings all the seasonings This time I brought some seasonings. Making our own meals like this can really save us a lot of money. Prices have risen considerably since I came here this time. The pilgrim menu is available for a minimum of 20,000 won (approximately 2,100 yen). We can eat it If we go to the supermarket and buy cheap meat and cook it, We’ll save about half the price This time the accommodation fee is quite high. We should adjust our food expenses accordingly So my superiors prepared the food. I didn’t expect this but I’m very grateful I’ll be arriving in Pamplona soon. I walked slowly and before I knew it I had arrived It took 5 hours and 20 minutes. Three days after I started walking My body may be adapting a little. I feel the least tired today I came to today’s accommodation. Very good Overall it’s pretty good Finally, a place with a desk in the room. Induction coffee maker sink There is a microwave on top Tableware provided This is a dishwasher There are pots and pans It’s a toilet and shower room bright There is a hair dryer There are towels I don’t have a towel A towel really helps And is there an environment where I can hang out my laundry? please! There is no place to hang laundry on the balcony. It’s not that there’s no place to hang laundry, it’s that there’s no clothes drying equipment. I can use my clothesline My senior did the shopping in advance. I will prepare the ingredients in this I bought this I also bought apple juice egg Is it pork belly? Samgyeopsal Two weigh over 1kg He bought a lot I need to put on my glasses before I cut onions That way there will be no tears Fewer tears The door must be opened Onions are strong… It’s almost to the point of crying Tears… I just happened to meet a Japanese pilgrim and had a short conversation with him. Look at me, is that someone who lives here? That’s why I said I was on a pilgrimage Why are you dressed so smartly? It’s obvious when you look at the outfit Add mushrooms and simmer until onions are soft. That’s it delicious Would you cook and eat something like this even if you were the only one? When I come here, I am doing this. If there are any leftovers, eat them easily I’ll eat (meat) tomorrow morning too. No matter what I try to buy outside, the prices are too high… Doesn’t 1kg of samgyeopsal cost €8 (about 13,580 won)? €7.5 (about 12,730 won)? There’s nothing I can get for €7 outside right now. This is cheap Arrows have gotten so good recently There weren’t many arrows back then. I was surprised when I walked today It’s hard to get lost now Because it has a mark The temperature just rose to 37° during the day. I couldn’t take a video. So 15 minutes before the sun sets I came to see a bit of Pamplona. This is the Pamplona Cathedral, which is beautiful. As the sun goes down, people are more active than ever. It was really too hot to go outside. Jamon Pamplona is truly vibrant. I think it’s always lively no matter when I come. There is a cafe where Hemingway went. Hemingway’s cafe “IRUNA” It’s called the Hemingway Cafe. Even though it’s 8:30 in the evening, there are still a lot of people there. This place has the feel of a city that never sleeps. By the way, Shin Ramyun is sold in supermarkets in China. I heard that Shin Ramyun costs around €4. How much is €4? It’s about 6,000-7,000 won. I took a light walk at night Now entering the hostel I’m going to take a break and recover my strength. I’ll wake up at 5am tomorrow I plan to depart around 6 o’clock I don’t want this to happen to my clothes. I couldn’t walk because my pants were falling down. So I need to remove the fixed belt. I hate destroying my belongings I don’t like buying belts. Make ramen 30 minutes before bed? It’s the best ever. I have no choice but to drink the soup. In Korea, I don’t drink soup. Okay The belt is done Isn’t it torn? I had no choice but to do this. I had no choice but to do this (November 13, 2025, Seoul) Recently I went to see some paintings at a gallery in Seoul. An unexpected journey She’s been on the Camino de Santiago twice. Solo exhibition by artist Song Ely In some familiar scenery I saw a vivid picture of Pamplona in my memory. This video will be uploaded this week Next time we’ll have Zubiri and Pamplona What was your impression of Pamplona? When summarizing Spain and saying “What Spain is like” A really great place to introduce Pamplona Some people say it’s too complicated and they don’t like it. I thought it was Spain itself People drink alcohol on the streets at night. It’s like a festival. And isn’t it inside the fortress? So it feels a bit otherworldly? – Do you have a good impression? – Of course. Did you enjoy the nightlife in Pamplona? I stewed chapagetti at the inn and ate it. This is a video of an interview with artist Song Ely at her exhibition. thank you
