Eles Queimaram 300.000 Manuscritos Pra Esconder Isso – Eu Achei Um
The Mishna itself, the most sacred text after the
Torah, contains a very strange and particular law about Bereshit, the creation account. The secrets
of creation are not taught to two students at the same time, under any circumstances. And there
is also Maaseh Merkava – the mysteries of the divine throne are not taught even to a single
student, unless he is wise and can understand by himself the subtle hints that the master will
give him during his studies. But why is this? What is there in this knowledge that made the rabbis
create such rigid and uncompromising rules? Well, look, the Talmud tells us that four great sages
entered the Pardes, the mystical orchard of forbidden knowledge. Ben Azai died right there on
the spot. Ben Zoma went completely insane. Acher became a heretic. And Rabbi Akiva, only Rabbi
Akiva alone came out in peace.Today I am going to reveal the 15 texts that form this entire body
of knowledge. Books that were censored, burned, hidden away in caves deep underground. Texts that
even today rabbis say: be careful, be very careful with them. Are you absolutely sure that you want
to know about this?Because you see, in 1896, Solomon Schechter, he made a discovery that
changed absolutely everything in Jewish studies. In the Ben Ezra synagogue, in Cairo, he found the
Geniza, a secret repository containing 300,000 manuscripts. These are texts that were hidden
away for 1,000 years deliberately. Among them, books that we thought had been destroyed forever
and completely lost. One of these manuscripts was the Sefer Razim, the Book of Secrets. A complete
manual on how to invoke angels, how to cure diseases, how to predict the future accurately.
For 1,000 years, this book remained hidden in a wall, sealed away. But why? And more importantly,
if these texts are so dangerous, why were they not destroyed completely? Why were they preserved,
hidden, and protected so carefully? The answer is going to change absolutely everything you think
about knowledge and power.Let me explain to you clearly how knowledge works in Judaism. There
exists a very clear and structured hierarchy. At the base, there is the written Torah, the
five books of Moses – many people call them the Pentateuch. Every single Jew can and must study
it carefully. Above that, there is the oral Torah, the Mishna, the Talmud. Actually there are
more books beyond this and they require more preparation, more serious and dedicated study. But
there exists a third level, a secret level: the Sod, the secret. Traditionally, Kabbalah
could only be studied by men over 40 years old, married, with children, and of proven character
and reputation. Why so many requirements? Because this knowledge interferes with the very structure
of reality itself in fundamental ways. That’s right. Think about it with me carefully: if God
created the universe by speaking “let there be light,” then words have real creative power and
real consequences. Hebrew letters are not just symbols or characters – they are actual tools of
creation. Whoever understands these tools can, theoretically, create or destroy things. That
is why the Talmud is so clear and unambiguous: you do not teach Maaseh Merkava, not even to a
single student, unless he is wise and understands on his own. But there have always been those who
sought this knowledge relentlessly. And some left their studies written down for posterity. In
1242, in Paris, 24 wagons full of Jewish manuscripts were burned in a public square.
The Catholic Church was afraid of these texts. The King of France was afraid. There were even
rabbis who supported the burning of certain books. Why so much fear about them?Maimonides,
the greatest Jewish sage of the Middle Ages, he wrote an angry letter about one of these texts,
the Shiur Komah. He said: “It is better to burn this book than to study it.” Maimonides, the
rationalist, the physician, the philosopher – if even he was afraid… It was not superstitious
fear. It was fear of what happens when powerful knowledge falls into the wrong hands. In 1666,
a man named Shabbatai Tzvi used some of these texts to declare himself the Messiah. Thousands of
Jews sold everything and followed him everywhere. Entire communities abandoned their lives
and everything they had. In the end, Shabbatai Tzvi converted to Islam. That’s right,
he did. The trauma was so great that even today, more than 350 years later, many Jewish communities
prohibit the public study of Kabbalah. But the books continue to exist. Some in university
libraries like Cambridge, Oxford, the National Library of Israel. Others in private collections.
And today, many are even online, just one click away. The question is: just because you can access
them, does that mean you should? The great sage Arizal, Rabbi Isaac Luria, the greatest Kabbalist
of all time, he said something very interesting and profound. He said that each soul has its own
unique gate of entry into the Torah. Some enter through the gate of law and logic, others through
the gate of mystical stories, and a select few through the gate of mystery and the unknowable.
But there are gates that should not be opened. At least not without proper preparation and
guidance.Imagine with me: you are in the library of Cambridge University, in the rare manuscripts
department. Security escorts you carefully to a climate-controlled room. White gloves are
mandatory, cameras are prohibited. Before you, a manuscript from 800 years ago. The Hebrew letters
seem to dance on the page. Some words are faded, others have been deliberately erased and scratched
out. This is one of the texts that I will reveal to you now.The first group are called cosmological
texts – books that explain how God created the universe and reality.**Sefer Yetzirah – The Book
of Formation**The Sefer Yetzirah, the Book of Formation, is the most ancient of them all. Some
say it was written by Abraham himself. Others, who explain it in a more grounded way, say that
God taught it to Adam himself at creation. In this book it is revealed that God created
everything with 32 paths of wisdom. Let me explain this: 22 Hebrew letters and the 10 Sefirot, the 10
divine emanations. It seems abstract, doesn’t it? But the book claims something deeply disturbing
and profound: whoever masters these combinations can create life. The Talmud tells us that Rava, one
of the great sages of the Talmud era, he created a man using the Sefer Yetzirah. He sent his creation
to Rabbi Zeira, a great rabbi from his time, who noticed that this being had no soul or life
force. He ended up destroying this being.Medieval rabbis knew this was so serious that the myth
was created – or perhaps the great truth – of the Golem of Prague, a clay being animated by
the techniques of Sefer Yetzirah. The second cosmological text is the Sefer HaBahir – The Book
of IlluminationIt appeared in Provence, in France, in the 12th century. Nobody knows exactly who
wrote it. It introduces some very bold concepts. It speaks of reincarnation, speaks of Sefirot
as divine personalities, and the Shechina as a feminine aspect of God.Here you are already
understanding that the person who does not understand the Kabbalistic codes will understand
everything wrong. But where did these ideas come from? How can the book simply appear and bring
these revolutionary concepts? The third one is more disturbing and challenging:**Sefer HaTemunah – The
Book of the Image**It claims that there are seven cycles of creation, each one lasting 7,000 years.
We are in the second cycle. Each cycle has its own Torah, its own laws. If this is true, everything
we know is temporary and changing. Even the divine laws change according to the 7,000 years we are
talking about. Just imagine the impact of this in a religion based on eternal laws.Once again,
it becomes clear: without true understanding, this will create confusion in your mind.Oh, but
wait. If these three books are already complex, the next five are the ones that really caused
panic. They are texts from Merkava literature, which are detailed instructions on how to ascend
to the heavens without dying. That’s right. How to make the journey that the prophet Elijah
made, but come back to tell the story. The Talmud is very clear about what happens to those
who try without preparation. Do you remember the four who entered the Pardes? Three did not
survive intact. But there have always been those who thought they were special, that the rules did
not apply to them. Do you want to know what these texts teach and why the rabbis preferred to die
rather than reveal these secrets? The Merkava texts are the most dangerous of all**Hechalot Rabati
– The Greater Palaces**It describes in great detail the seven heavens. Each heaven has its own
palaces. Each palace has its own guardians. And each guardian has a test. Fail the test? Your soul
gets trapped. Your body continues to live, but it becomes empty. It is what doctors today would call
a coma. The text gives the names of the guardians, the passwords to pass through, the seals to
show. But there is a problem: one wrong word, one incorrect pronunciation, and you do not come
back.**Hechalot Zutarti – The Lesser Palaces**Even more specific than the first. It teaches the
transformation of the physical body to endure the journey. Fasts of 40 days, immersions
in freezing water, recitation of divine names thousands of times. The body needs to become
almost transparent, the texts say. But how exactly do you do this in reality? But the most impressive
is the Sefer Hechalot. It tells the story of how Chanoch, Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah,
transformed into the angel Metatron. He did not die – he was transformed into celestial fire. He
became the Prince of the Face, the most powerful angel below the Divine Throne. And the book gives
the formula, step by step. Now think: if someone believes that they can transform into an angel,
what kind of things would that person be capable of doing? What risks would they be taking? In
1570, in Safed, in Israel, a group of Kabbalists tried this practice. They were led by the great
sage Rabbi Moshe Cordovero. They followed the instructions of Maaseh Merkava carefully. Rabbi
Cordovero survived and wrote about the experience, but he was never the same again after that. He
died at 48 years old, very young even for that time. According to his students, the mystical
experience transformed the master profoundly. The most controversial of all is the Shiur Komah
– The Measure of the Divine StatureThis text does something unthinkable and shocking: it
describes the measurements of God. The size of the divine fingers, the distance between the
celestial eyes. Obviously these are metaphors, these are symbols, but the text presents them
as literal measurements. And there Maimonides became so horrified that he wrote: “Whoever
believes that God has physical measurements is a heretic.” And you understand from this that in
reality Maimonides was afraid – afraid of people having a completely wrong interpretation. But other
rabbis defended the text. They said quite clearly: “The measurements are codes. Each number is a
meditation. Each proportion, a cosmic secret.” Who is right? What we know is that rabbis who
studied deeply the Shiur Komah reported intense experiences of spiritual transformation. Some
entered profound meditative states for days. Now comes the most interesting part. All these
Merkava texts have something in common: they promise power. Power to see the future, power to
change your destiny, power to command angels. And it was exactly this that seduced our next group of
texts: the practical books of magic.**Sefer Raziel HaMalach – The Book of the Angel Raziel**It is
the most famous of all. Even today in Israel, many families place a page of this book in the room
of newborn babies. Do you know why? Protection. The book promises that no evil can enter a
home that has its words. But the complete book teaches much more: how to become invisible,
how to understand the language of animals, how to predict the future through the stars.
Superstition? Perhaps. But in 1908, in Jerusalem, a rabbi named Yehuda Fetaya used techniques
from the book Raziel HaMalach to perform exorcisms.Dozens of testimonies, documented
cases. Coincidence? Suggestion? Or is there something more?**The Effect of the Texts**You
know what impresses me the most after years of studying these texts? It is not the content
itself – it is the effect they have on people. There are reports of scholars who, after diving
deeply, for example, into the Sefer Razim, began to have intense mystical experiences.Vivid
dreams with Kabbalistic symbolism, synchronicities that defy any explanation. The Sefer Razim itself
describes visions of the seven celestial princes, each with their specific characteristics. Many
who study the text report similar experiences. Suggestion? Archetypes of the collective
unconscious? Or could it be something deeper?**Charba d’Moshe – The Sword of Moses**It
is even more intense. It is basically a manual of spiritual warfare. Adjurations to destroy enemies,
formulas to cause diseases, names of angels of destruction. Why would Moses, the greatest
prophet, write something like this? The text explains: “Sometimes the evil is so great that it
needs to be fought with its own weapons.”But who decides when that moment has arrived? Who has
the wisdom to use this power without becoming corrupted? According to oral traditions,
during critical periods of Jewish history, spiritual leaders resorted to this knowledge for
protection, but always with extreme caution and spiritual preparation.**Shimmush Tehillim – The
Use of the Psalms**It seems the most harmless. After all, they are just the Psalms of David,
right? But this text reveals that each psalm, recited in a specific way in Hebrew, with the
correct melodies, becomes a tool. For example: Psalm 121 for protection in travels. The
20th for winning trials. Psalm 35 against enemies.Seems like medieval superstition? But the
Baal Shem Tov, founder of the Hasidic movement, a great righteous one, used the Shimmush
Tehillim regularly. Hundreds of documented stories about his miraculous cures. Placebo? The
power of suggestion? Or do the psalms really have power when used correctly? Now we arrive at
the most influential and controversial text: the ZoharFor 500 years, after it was discovered in
the 13th century, the Zohar circulated in secret. The rabbis studied it hidden. Some said it was
too sacred, others said it was too dangerous. Why? Because it reveals that every single word of the
Torah has four levels of meaning. That each letter hides entire universes. That each commandment is
a spiritual technology. But the most disturbing: the Zohar speaks about the Sitra Achra, the
Other Side. A complete system of negative forces that mirrors the divine. Studying the
Zohar means knowing both sides. And knowing evil in detail can end up being seductive. And
now comes the most shocking revelation: Tikunei Zohar – The 70 CorrectionsTikun in
Hebrew means repair. So, 70 corrections of the Zohar contain something that few know:
they are 70 different interpretations of the first verse of the Torah – “In the beginning, God
created.” Each interpretation reveals a different dimension of reality. All 70 are published and
available for study, but the tradition says that there are levels of understanding that can only
be achieved with proper guidance. Why? Because each interpretation goes deeper into the nature of
reality. And without proper preparation, the mind can get lost in concepts that transcend normal
understanding.**The 15th Text: The Law**The 15th text is not a book – it is a law. Mishna, tractate
of Chagiga, chapter 2, Mishna 1: “One does not expound on forbidden relations to three people
at the same time, nor on Maaseh Bereshit to two, nor on Maaseh Merkava to a single person, unless
he is wise and understands by himself.”This is the key to everything. Do you see? It is not that the
knowledge is forbidden. It is that it needs to be transmitted in the right way, to the right person,
at the right time. Like a powerful medicine: in the right dose it cures, in the wrong dose it
kills. The Talmud explains why these restrictions exist. When you study the secrets of creation
in a group, the energies amplify. What one mind can handle, two may not be able to. It is like
electrical voltage: your body can handle 12V, but if you connect 220V… That is why the
tradition created safeguards: minimum age, moral preparation, physical purification. This is not
elitism – it is protection.Beyond everything, what is most important is the knowledge that the person
already has of the written Torah in a correct manner and of all the Talmudic concepts also in
a clear and organized way in the mind. Otherwise, the interpretation will always come either wrong
or incomplete. And instead of causing benefit, it will end up causing great damage. But here is the
modern paradox: all these texts are online today. Any person with internet can access the Zohar, the
Sefer Yetzirah, even the Shiur Komah. The ancient protections do not exist anymore. The safeguards
have been broken. It is as if we have left loaded powerful weapons on the playground. Some say this
is the democratization of knowledge, that everyone has the right to the secrets. But others warn:
“We are playing with fire. Knowledge without preparation, without guidance, without protection
is a recipe for disaster.” Who is right?Perhaps the answer lies in the Talmud itself. Right after
telling about the four who entered the Pardes, the Talmud says something fascinating. Rabbi Akiva
said to the others: “When you reach the stones of pure marble, do not say ‘water, water,’ because
it is written: ‘Whoever speaks falsehood shall not stand before My eyes.'”What does this mean?
That the greatest danger is not the knowledge itself – it is the illusion. It is thinking you
understand when you do not understand. It is confusing the reflection with reality. Now I will
reveal something that few rabbis publicly admit: these 15 texts that I mentioned are still
studied in closed groups, with proper guidance, following the ancient traditions of transmission
from generation to generation. The study locations in Jerusalem, right here, particularly in very
religious neighborhoods like the Jewish Quarter of the Old City, the neighborhood of Mea Shearim,
there are groups dedicated to deep study of these texts. According to the thousand-year-old
tradition, access is restricted to people with decades of Talmudic preparation. In Tzfat, the city
of Kabbalah, where the great sage Arizal and his disciples lived, the mystical tradition continues
completely alive. There are study groups that meet regularly, always with the guidance of experienced
masters. Why? Because there is knowledge that cannot die. It needs to be preserved, transmitted,
even if only to a few. It is like guarding the seed of a rare plant. It can be dangerous, but
what if one day we need it?Sefer Raziel HaMalach, for example, exists in several versions.
The common printed edition is available, but scholars know that there are manuscripts
with significant variations in libraries and even in private collections. What differentiates
these versions? Mainly the level of detail in the mystical practices. Some versions are safer for
general study, while others contain elements that tradition considers appropriate only for advanced
scholars.Charba d’Moshe has a fascinating history of preservation. The manuscripts of this text were
found in diverse Jewish communities, from Yemen to Morocco, each one preserving unique variations.
During the great Jewish immigrations of the 20th century, many of these manuscripts were brought to
Israel, where today they are studied in academic institutions – which is not very good – but also
in religious places.Shiur Komah caused so much controversy that there are multiple versions –
some more symbolic, others more literal. Modern scholars have dedicated years to analyzing
these differences. Some researchers suggest that the measurements can represent mathematical
concepts or harmonic proportions, very similar to what we find in the sacred geometry of other
traditions. The texts of Merkava continue to be studied mainly in houses of study and also in some
academic contexts. The problem with academia is that it cannot understand the full spiritual
context. The difference is in the approach, you see? The academics are not prepared with
Talmudic knowledge. They study it as if it were a historical phenomenon. As to the truth of these
books, they know that the traditional approach requires preparation and caution. The Zohar
has a unique situation: it is published, it is available, but the Kabbalist rabbis emphasize that
proper study requires guidance. It is not just to understand the Aramaic, which is complex, but it
is to understand the multiple layers of meaning.I can tell you personally that, countless times,
students come to me from the Academy of Moses, students of my mentorship, and they comment
to me: “Rabbi, I studied with so-and-so, with the so-and-so, the master of Kabbalah…” –
they even say a wrong name – “…and I studied the concept that is in the Zohar.” And I listen and it
was all wrong. Precisely because the master taught it wrong because he was not prepared. So you have
to be careful. The guidance has to be correct and you have to be prepared. There is, actually, a rich
tradition of commentaries on the Zohar, each one revealing different aspects of the text. Without
these commentaries, without proper guidance, much of the deep meaning remains inaccessible and,
for many people, wrong. The Tikunei Zohar is even more complex. The 70 interpretations of the first
verse of the Torah are all published, but each one requires deep study to be properly understood.
The tradition teaches that each interpretation corresponds to a different level of spiritual
consciousness and that the progressive study of these interpretations can lead to elevated
states of understanding. But the most impressive is how these texts continue to be relevant. In
2012, physicists discovered the Higgs Boson, the “particle of God.” It is interesting to note
that the Sefer Yetzirah talks about creation beginning with a singular point of infinite light
– a concept that many compare precisely to the Big Bang.Neuroscience discovered that meditation
physically alters the brain. The Merkava texts are essentially manuals of deep meditation. Could
the ancients have already intuited something about neural plasticity? Why now? And here comes the
part that really intrigues me: why now? Why are these texts becoming accessible at this moment in
history? Some say it is a sign of messianic times, that knowledge needs to be revealed before
the end. Others think this is a test, a proof – that humanity needs to prove that it can
handle power without destroying itself. There are those who believe it is a necessity – that we face
dramatic challenges: climate change, artificial intelligence, genetic manipulation that will
require a wisdom beyond the conventional.Whatever the reason, the fact is: the knowledge is there.
Pandora’s box is open. The question is no longer whether we should have access. It is how to use
that access wisely. So, what should you do with everything that you have just discovered?First:
respect. These texts survived millennia for a reason. Generations of sages dedicated entire
lives to understanding these texts. It is not a YouTube tutorial that you watch and go
apply.Second: if you felt genuine curiosity, then seek proper guidance. There are rabbis, there
are teachers, there are some serious institutions that can guide you safely. But unfortunately,
there are more institutions or pseudo-sages that do not know very well and use this in a
commercial way. So you are going to have to be very careful.Third, and most important: question
your motivations. Why do you want knowledge? Do you want to have power? Is it curiosity? Is
it spiritual growth?Jewish tradition says: “Whoever studies to teach receives help to learn
and teach. Whoever studies to practice receives help to learn, teach and practice. But whoever
studies for the wrong reasons…” The humility of knowledge. Look, I have studied these texts for
decades and, the more I learn, the more I perceive how much I do not know. It is like the ocean: you
enter thinking you are going to conquer the waves, but then you realize that the most you can do
is just float. These 15 texts that I revealed today are just the tip of the iceberg. There is
an entire universe of Jewish mystical knowledge.
