Tokyo Explorations | Asagaya, Kichijoji, & Sasazuka | Ghibli Bike Pilgrimage

For my second day in Tokyo (東京), I made my way out to the Studio Ghibli Museum (三鷹の森ジブリ美術館) in Mitaka City (三鷹市) to peek over the walls and catch a glimpse of the Robot Soldier from Castle in the Sky, as well as explore the surrounding neighborhoods. Although ticket sales to foreign visitors had been suspended during the height of COVID, by early 2023 the museum had resumed selling tickets to overseas guests—so I simply soaked in the magic from outside. Still, just seeing the museum was enough for me—and any day spent biking is a win. 🤖🏰☁️
