自転車で巡るゴールデンアワー | ロンドン・オンタリオ州の写真

So, today I’m going on a little uh sunset photo adventure in London, Ontario. Well, I’m at the place that I saw my bike ride the other day. Like, it’s kind of cool. And while I was riding by, it like sparked something, but now that I’m here, it’s kind of that. It’s kind of the shot I was thinking, but now I’m seeing a lamp post and not very much traffic and kind of an unin interesting building. Should I stay? Should I shoot it? Should I go find another spot? Don’t know. Well, here’s another spot at the forks of the temps. Kind of striking out. Find another spot. Okay. Well, so I was just over on that bridge. Now I’m on the pedestrian bridge. Is it better? Yes. Is it amazing? Eh, trees haven’t really turned color yet. So, I’m not super inspired, but it’s better, and I think it’s worth getting at least a shot of. So, here we go. Let’s get a photo. One trick I’ve learned with long exposures and bridges is especially bridges like this with a lot of foot traffic and stuff is they bounce. So you got to keep your exposure down or else you will introduce shake even on a tripod even set up. So I’m currently only shooting I think a quarter of a second which isn’t really as long as I’d like to get the motion in the water over there. But because I’m on a bridge with shaking and people, I’m kind of limited cuz otherwise I’ll get shaken in the image, which is not what you want. Well, uh I down the trail not even 100 m and there was like a little offshoot path that people clearly come down to a little kind of beach. Lean my bike against tree and wow, that doesn’t suck. Glad I kept uh trying new spots. This is great. I’m going to set up here and uh yeah, [Music] got this shooting with now the 13 stop ND filter and a 20 mil lens. So, I’ve got the whole scene in focus. Uh looking great at a 30 second exposure to kind of blur everything out and it’s really going to look sharp. I think this is probably my favorite uh spot to shoot London. Now, I’m really glad I took this little trail down here that I’ve biked by hundreds, hundreds and hundreds of times in my life. Never come down here. [Music] The spots ended up being cool. Got to scope at a few places. Had a nice sunset. Let’s see what the photos look like. I’m excited. Let me know what you think in the comments. Thanks for following along. Please like and subscribe and all that stuff because it really does make a difference. See y’all later.

I took my bike, camera kit, and tripod out for a sunset ride through London, Ontario and found a perfect spot at the Forks of the Thames. The light was incredible, and I captured a long exposure just as the sun was setting. 🌇📸

Mixing cycling with photography is one of my favorite ways to explore—slowing down, noticing the details, and finding fresh perspectives on familiar places. This sunset turned into one of my favourite shots of London so far.
