42🇮🇳 インド最後の野生ライオンを探せ!😱(ギル国立公園)

Good morning from the Gear National Park. Let’s go see some lions. [Music] [Music] You you you [Music] Oh, that’s cold. Woo! We soaked our t-shirts before starting the ride. It’s definitely doing the trick. Wow, that’s cold. Thank you very much. Thank you. Thank you. Awesome. Yeah, thank you. It was great. Lovely. Really, really nice. Thank you. Hello. Mesh intercom on. Open mesh channel one. I can hear you. Yes. Uh yeah, let me get it off the center stand. Okay. 3 2 1. Yeah. Okay. Sit. And then we’ll go this way. Yeah, I checked this morning. Chanti’s oil already. There is still tons of oil inside. So, it didn’t look like that. I lost a lot of oil yesterday, which is nice. Yeah, that’s good. Shanty will live to ride another day. Time to do get on the bike asana. Oh, wait. You have a leaf where your chain is. I have a leaf on my chain. Yeah. Hey, you stay here, Mr. Leaf. All right. Ready for another sweaty ride? Thank you. Bye. Carefully with the gravel. Yep. Look, there’s some buffalo on the other side of the river. A lot of buffalo. That’s incredible. Yeah, I think we’re going actually over this bridge here. Okay. Just right into the river. Wow. Amazing. Cool. Look at that. It’s like a hole where all the water drops down. And the guys at the hotel told us that there are crocs. Big crocs in this water. Like 3 m crocs. You call that a croc? This is a croc. Buffalo soldier. A how nice. I love this animal. Oh, so pretty. Namaste. Danad. Oh, and look, this cow has like a red dot. on his um forehead. Yeah. Cool. Holy cow. Don’t buffaloos just look so much more exotic than cows, though? Yeah. Look at them. Incredibly pretty. Good morning, world. Welcome back to the channel. It’s ride number 43 on our motorcycle adventure here in India. Wait a second. I have to go slow here. No idea how deep it is or how muddy. We are here just next to the Gear Forest in the state of Gujarat and we’re getting started a little bit later this morning. It is 11:30, but that’s because we woke up super early this morning to go on a safari. Good morning. Good morning. How are you? Good, good, good. What’s your name? Ajit. Jit, nice to meet you. Ajit, thank you. Ah, yes. That’s nice. Good morning from the Gear National Park. Let’s go see some lions. [Music] Elton take over. [Music] [Music] The Gear National Park is very famous. It is the only place in the whole world where you can find the wild Asiatic lion. And where we started this morning, I asked our guide and he said it’s like a 50/50 chance that you’ll actually see any lions because in each area there is only one male lion and a group of females up to around 25 females. And that is in a huge area of like 50 square kilometers. Are you feeling lucky today? I’m really praying that we can see some lions. 12 seconds later. Lion. Oh, okay. Oh my god. Lion. Lion. Lion. Lion. Oh god. How beautiful. How beautiful. Five lion. Five lions, guys. Wow. I didn’t expect that. Seriously, I didn’t expect that. Wow. Oh my god. How beautiful. How beautiful. We are only, I think, less than half an hour into this safari and we’re now following a group of lions down the road. Wow. Wow. That’s incredible. I really can’t believe it. That’s so incredible. These are young ones. Young ones. Oh, wow. Is it all young ones? Four young ones. Or is there adults? Four young ones. One big one. One big one. They are massive. Oh my god. Oh, cute. He’s looking at us. He’s looking at us. Hello, guys. That’s unbelievable. Wow. Well, there’s two small groups coming together. They’re part of one larger group. How many are here? Five total. Five. Yes. Five lions. Five lions. [Music] This morning we got lucky. Yes. Not only did we see lions, but we saw five of them in one group. And it was such a magical moment. It felt like I was in a documentary movie. It was so incredible. Yeah. There we were just riding through the forest. Hello. And suddenly coming onto the road in front of us, a whole pride of lioness’s lazy lionesses using the road instead of the forest. But it was good for us because we could follow them for a little bit and just watch them playing, watch them rubbing themselves up against trees. Oh my god. Yeah, it was so incredible. Absolutely magical. We sort of followed them and then they turned around and they looked us directly in our faces. It was such a special moment. After two safaris where we couldn’t find tigers, today we found lions in the only place in the world where you can find them. Yes. So very, very successful. Yes. Mission successful this morning. So now we have hit the road because we are on our way to another spectacular place. So let me show you where we’re heading. So we are here in Sasangir and over the next few days we will be riding north around the Gulf of Kutch to reach an area known as the great Ran of Kutch, one of the largest salt deserts in the world. Yes, it will take us three rides to reach the salt desert and we have decided to ride today for another 2 hours to reach the town of Jetpur and it’s already 11:30. So better hit the road. Let’s go. So now that we’ve seen some of the beautiful and spectacular wildlife of Gear Forest, let me tell you a little bit more about this special place around us. So the Gear National Park was established in 1965 in what used to be the hunting grounds of the ruler of Janagad. this area. The park is now 550 square miles of beautiful forest and it’s home to 38 species of mammals, more than 300 species of birds, and over 2,000 species of insect. Oh, and these guys have broken down. Oh no, watch out for the lions, mate. But of course, the stars of the show here are the Asiatic lion. And as I said before, this forest is the last refuge, the only place where you can find the Asiatic lion in the wild. In 1900, it was estimated that there were fewer than 100 lions left in the wild. But they became a protected species. And every year, their numbers are increasing. And in 2020, the latest count, they counted 674 of these beautiful creatures here. So, a remarkable story of recovery. And I’m so glad that we could see them for ourselves. But they don’t just have aiatic lions here. They also have leopards and even hyenas. Although those are rarely seen. The guide told us maybe one time in the whole year he might see one. But still during our safari we saw wild pigs. We saw spotted deers. We saw samba deer. Plus the hanuman langour. We saw a lot of peacocks including one that was showing all his beautiful feathers. But the peacock is quite a funny animal in that environment because the landscape is all very monochrome. You know, all the animals are blending in. They’re all sort of beige or a little bit black, a little bit white. And then you’ve got a peacock who just struts around in like all of these fluorescent blues and greens. Yeah, it’s a really funny bird. I wonder if it’s native for this area here. Every time we were just searching for the lions and suddenly a peacock’s like, “Hey guys, look at me. I’m the prettiest one. Oh man, I don’t know how they survived there. Seriously, not very inconspicuous. Yeah. All in all, a really, really incredible experience. And also, the place where we stayed was absolutely amazing. Good on you guys. You served us very tasty food and everybody was super friendly. Namaste. Namaste. Bye-bye. It’s a very nice gate over there. So, we are just coming through the town of Junagad, which is one of the bigger towns in this area. And it’s actually the place where the rulers who had the hunting grounds in Gear, they were the rulers of this place, Junag. So, it’s a very ancient city, very ancient and very chaotic city. So, we’re just looking for somewhere we can stop, get a cold drink, and uh wet our T-shirts again, get that AC up and running. Oh, is he he’s not going to go? Is he going to go? Come on. I had to beep him. You did it, my love. You did beep him. I did it. We’re about halfway through the ride today. Still just about surviving, but yeah, we’ve got to stop pretty soon. So, I can feel I’m getting dehydrated. My t-shirt is bone dry again. Same like my mouth. Wow. A very beautiful and ornate uh I’m not sure what it is, but little area over there. Whoa. This is some kind of junction. Go on. You show them who’s boss. You show them who’s boss. Lovey. Yes, you did it. There’s mad traffic here. Namaste. Hello. Two coconut. Thank you. Yes. Just look at that. Yes. Perfect. Danivad. Sweet. Okay. 140. 140. Oh, thank you. You make sure you get it all nice and wet. Air condition activated. I think we have just about 40 minutes left. So, you’re swearing at me. Good day. He was like this. 40 minutes more until we hopefully reach an air conditioned room. Yeah. Nice to meet you. Awesome. And Ollie. Yes. Levy and Ollie. Subscribe. Thank you. Thank you so much. Have a good day. I will follow you. Perfect. Thank you so much. Okay, you’re free now. Free. Bye. [Music] Come over to my lane. Oh, bloody hell. I didn’t know there wasn’t a lane. Sorry. I was like, come over to my lane. Wasn’t even a lane. Was just the other side of the road. Oh, look at this gate there. Wow. Yeah. Look. Entrance to the old city. Majivadi gates. Wait, where’s my sunglasses? Uh, they’re on the backpack. I can see them behind your shoulder. Oh no. Oh no. Okay, wait a second. Wait, why is he pulling out now? Come on, dude. Come on. [Music] I mean, so often we ride off. We are like, where is this? Where is that? Especially where where are the sunglasses? Okay, I go. [Music] [Music] Wow, guys, look at that. That this all bags of chilies here. Oh my lord. No wonder the curries are so spicy. Wow. Here as well a big pile of chili. Wow. It’s literally spicy in the air. Wow. Oh my god. Yeah. Can you smell that? How can you possibly work there? It’s like burning in your nose, you know, when you smell it. [Music] [Music] So, we are just coming into the town of Jetpur, our destination for today. And we’ve found one hotel we’re going to try. It’s pretty cheap, but the reviews seem quite good. So, we’re going to see if they’ve got a room for us, an AC room. My t-shirt’s already dry again. Yeah, Jetpur is quite a big place as well. Look at this temple. Nice. I didn’t see it. You can watch it on the video afterwards. Yeah. Oh, isn’t that like the statue? Oh, yes. That is um the tallest statue in the world. Sida Patel. A copy of the biggest statue in the world. Hello. Just a few more streets up ahead. Oh, yeah. I can see it. Cordell Hotel Cordell. AC and nonac rooms. I want the AC room. comfortable sleep or certain death rooms. Yep. Okay. Oh, what? Sorry. Oh, no. I’m not very good with my U-turns. I’m embarrassing. You’re embarrassing, my love. I know. I’ll go find out if they’ve got a room for us. Hello. Hotel. Kodal. Hotel. This way. Okay. Ah, they might actually have a parking back here. Hotel Cordell reception second floor. Okay. Oh, I’m going to take the stairs. Hello. Um, you have a AC room for tonight. Yeah, we have motorbikes. Okay. Can we park at uh inside next to the lift? Okay. Thank you. We we parked the bikes coming up. Thank you. Okay. They’ve got parking just inside. There’s a little bit of a ramp to get there. Just follow me up the ramp. Okay. Oh, bloody hell. Don’t know if I can do that on you. I can do yours if you want. Go on. You can do it. Just straight up. There we go. No problem. Oh, look. There’s a cow. Hello. Awesome. Okay, let’s get to that. Oh, let’s get to that AC. Okay, AC is having to be put on hold for a minute because got a bit of electricals to do. It’s a lot of wires. Yeah, a lot of wires. Yeah. Do you have a map of the wires? I don’t think it’s still looking. Okay. Connect. Oh, okay. Okay. So, this is our bed. Nice and big. We have a sofa, nice little table, a chair, and what’s really funny, we have the second door here to the outside. Wow. Very nice view from here. I show you our bathroom ta as well. Really funny because to flash you have to turn on the tap here. Oh, and then you have to turn it off. Oh, so it’s unlimited flashing capabilities. Cool. Yes, we have power. Cool. You did it. electrician. No, no. Action. Wow, guys, look at all this food. And these are actually our leftovers from yesterday. Yes, these ones are from the lunch. This is from the dinner. And this one is from breakfast this morning. So, it’s like triple leftover party right here. And it was just so delicious that we were like, “No, this stuff can’t be thrown away.” We’ve got some chips. We’ve got some uh pa curry, okra curry, uh another vegetable curry, and another paneer curry. We’ve got papadam. Oh, but it’s gone soft. Yeah, they’re not crispy anymore. We’ve got soft papa. And we’ve got aloo paratha. Incredible. Seriously, that’s so much food. It could be probably breakfast for tomorrow as well. Mhm. But we still have one more safari to come here in India. In about a week’s time, we’re going to be heading to the Ranthamore National Park, and that is going to be our third and final chance of seeing tigers in the wild here in India. But before that, we’ve got a salty desert to get to. So, let the journey into the corner of India continue tomorrow. Yes. And that’s it from us today. We hope you enjoyed the video. If so, please give us the thumbs up, subscribe to the channel, share the video with your friends and family, comment below, and we will see you next time. Oh. [Music]

  1. You missed out on visiting a major Pilgrimage and tourist spot in Junagadh. You missed visiting Girnar, the highest hill in Gujarat, in Junagadh, which is 1117 meters high. There are 9999 steps on the Girnar mountain. There is also a ropeway. There is also a zoo in Junagadh, which houses all the animals of the Gir forest.

  2. I love the wildlife. There you are eating delicious leftovers, while I now have to go in the kitchen and scrunch up cabbage again, ready to ferment sauerkraut for a fortnight. Yours is so much more appetising. 💜

  3. Really enjoyed the snappy editing and great music too. Hope to see you churn out the rest of the videos quickly so we can be in Ladakh before Christmas 😂

  4. I am also so much excited seeing lions with you guys. It was real magical. Thank you . I am seeing many new places through your videos than I ever thought possible. Take care 🙏🇮🇳❤️

  5. Dear
Many YouTubers are coming india for just few views and then after going from india, they say that india is not good place
Hope you are not those type of people ❤

  6. So epic getting to see the lions, proper bucket list material👌Another awesome video guys👍That wiring looked a bit scary🤣

  7. Due to the tension between India and Pakistan, the police have declared no-fly zones in some districts of Gujarat. So, I would like to request you that if you are shooting videos with the help of drones, please check if the areas are not covered in the no-fly zone.
Example: Ninety percent of Ahmedabad's area is covered in the no-fly zone.

Thanks you… And your video is tooooo good…. ❤

  8. Excellent work, guys!
If you happen to overfill the oil, which is easy to do because reading the level is not easy to learn, you can find some in the air box, and that's easily cleaned out.

  9. Hi Lavi and Ollie, That was great seeing 5 lions 🦁 I am not surprised you were excited, let alone all the other animals, well worth getting up at 5.30 am, I bet you were glad they fixed the air conditioning. All the best from Roy 👍 😊.

  10. Please avoid leftover food of outside even if you have no option than max for 5-6 hours not more than that , yes there is some food that you can consume after many hours but not the Sabji, dal and rice ! Eat warm and fresh food as much as possible

  11. Bro I am from Jetpur. I was surprised that you took a stop there. You chose the wrong hotel but not your fault, probably got misled by the reviews. If I would known I would have invited you to my house, it was just right across the street. Too late i guess you guys have already left. Hope it was a good stay for you guys. ❤

  12. I am watching yoir vlogs from Germany. But I am native of Gir and I am surprised that I am watching your video about gir. Actually, I would say that you visited right place in Gujarat also. I am missing my home now. 😊😊😊😊

  13. I have watched entire series from beginning and I just loved it 👌👌👌 but please bro dont eat leftover food, thats not healthy 😊 I would suggest only eat fresh and still if there is leftover food then eat it within 4 or 5 hours😊

  14. You are not visiting world heritage city Ahemdabad? You miss golden tourist places 🎉 😐😒 Ahemdabad india 6 th biggest city. Many places to visit ahemdabad.
