National Route 168 Nara to Nachikatsuura Touring Good morning, this is Naka. Today I’m going to Nachikatsuura to eat some delicious tuna. Today’s starting point is Roadside Station Hari Terrace. Starting here, I’ll head south on National Route 168, enjoying the spectacular views along the way. On the way, I’ll stop by Japan’s longest suspension bridge, Tanise Suspension Bridge, before heading to Nachikatsuura . Thank you for joining me today. Sunday, July 27th, just after 7am at Hari Terrace Roadside Station Hari Terrace, a mecca for Kansai riders. There aren’t many bikes around at this time. As I was about to leave, someone asked me, “Where are you going?” We chatted a little. These moments are fun too. Now , let’s enjoy another day. I recently purchased an Insta360 Ace Pro2. I had been hesitating about buying one, but I gave in to the temptation of the sale and bought one. Today I’d also like to test out the camera. National Route 168 Roadside Station 帰りました 。 English: Yoshinoji Daito The weather is fine today, perfect for touring We turn off Route 168 for a moment A suspension bridge comes into view on the right Arriving at Tanise Suspension Bridge The parking lot is just ahead Arriving at the parking lot The parking fee for motorcycles is 400 yen Tanise Suspension Bridge is 297m long and 54m high It is said to be the longest suspension bridge in Japan for daily use Let’s try crossing it It is dangerous so no more than 20 people can cross at one time It sways quite a bit There is a campsite below the suspension bridge Excuse me It was a thrilling experience When we returned to the parking lot there were more riders We set off again National Route 168 The road narrows in places It is a midsummer day It is cool and pleasant inside the tunnel Roadside station Totsukawago There were lots of riders We took a short break so we set off Amazing spectacular view It feels good Kumano River Kumano Hongu Taisha Shrine Passing by If you have time I would like to visit it slowly Japan’s largest wooden torii gate on the left The pleasant road continues Oh! I was surprised! National Route 168 was a lot of fun. The scenery changed completely when we got out of the tunnel. National Route 42, Nachikatsuura . Arrived at Katsuura Fishing Port Nigiwai Market.
