真鶴 and then some

Good morning. Good morning. All right. Well, today we are going out to Manazuru. [Music] Rolling in through Chka. Just about to go meet up with John. It’s like 6:00 in the morning and I’m a few minutes late, but I’m assuming he’s going to be just a few more minutes later than me. We’re about to find out. [Music] All right. Up and over through Buddaku. [Music] in the background. All right, then. Here we go. [Music] Coming through Oiso here. Nice little pine tree section. And then we’ll be uh heading out closer to uh Nomia coming out and running along the beach. We’ll get closer to the beach, bit farther up. We’ll have a nice little run straight on the water. [Music] It’s one of my favorite parts of the ride right here. kicking out along the beach. Like right on the beach. [Music] Heat. Heat. N. [Music] This is my favorite part right here. [Music] [Music] Super busy part where it kind of narrows down a bit. Pretty freaky. and a few big trucks here and there. So, not fun. Uh-oh, here comes another one. Just like that. All right. Well, here we are at uh Monazudu. This is the uh station right behind us. And uh the cape is down this way. It’s about a 10 km little loop with uh a couple little sharp hills and some really good views. Waiting for John to pull up. I think I kind of went a little fast. All right, then. Well, here we are. Kottoi something beach. Can’t remember the name, but uh pretty popular with uh divers. Lots of shallow places to get into the water and look around in a bit. It’s pretty nice out here. In the summer, it’ll get a little more crowded. It’s only 8:30 in the morning now, so not too many people. [Music] This is the entrance to uh the museum here, but the cape basically the end of the road up here. And uh little swing set and a little barbecue place. You go down there, there’s a little cafe, but this is pretty much it. Batam is down there. We’re not going that far today, though. All right. Well, we’re just finishing up on Manuzu, a little cape out here, and pulling up to the light. I don’t think we’re going to make it, though. And then we’ll be back on the 135. Back along the beach here. [Music] [Applause] All right. Well, we’re back in order coming off of 135 from high and uh we’re going to try to get here. We’re back on 134 here and then 134 all the way home. 134 just got ink so they go home. Yeah, for real. guy in front of us in the first jersey. He’s been in front of us for about 15 15 km on this trail now. He’s trying his best just to kind of pull away, but he gets [Music] he gets pulled back with every red light through the road. [Music] [Applause] Well, here we are. We’re at uh Kentucky. What is that? It’s not quite done yet, but behind me behind me over there. [Music] Once again, Hiroshima as always. [Music] Wonder if I can do this onehanded. [Music] Get through this. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] [Music] Hello. [Music] Best part about riding through right there, baby. [Music] Looks like I’ll have about 150 kilometers by the end of the day. Out to Monu Kamakura, back up the river trail. As you can see, there’s this [Music]

155km to Manazuru, Enoshima, and Kamakura.
Summer means it’s hot, so we tried to get out a bit earlier than usual.
