On June 20, 2025, a red and black Honda CRF1000 motorcycle sped southbound through Benton County, Arkansas. Trooper Sheldon Phipps spotted the bike on Highway 62 with an unreadable temp tag and attempted a stop. But the rider had other plans.

Speeds shot above 100 MPH through 35 MPH zones. The chase tore through multiple city intersections, with the motorcycle running a red light and diving into a grassy wooded area off East Chestnut Street. That’s when Trooper Phipps made a bold move—blocking the exit path and performing a tactical contact that locked the motorcycle against his push bumper. The rider, Bryan Rogers, threw his hands up immediately.

This one ends with no injuries—but it easily could’ve gone the other way.
