1770-5【キャンプ】【4K】2021年オープンキャンプ場!茨城県かすみがうら市 かすみがうらドッグ&サイクル キャンプ場紹介(中編)

1770-5 [Camping] [4K] 2021 Open Campsite! Introducing the Kasumigaura Dog & Cycle Campsite in Kasumigaura City, Ibaraki Prefecture (Part 2) We’re at a new campsite. The location is Kasumigaura City, Ibaraki Prefecture. The name is Dog & Cycle Campsite. ■Check the map We set up our tent at the campsite. We made drinks in front of the tent. Next, we’ll enjoy a bonfire and a meal. Since we’ve come all this way, we’ll go and see the whole thing. Your current location is the campsite on the map. The reception desk where you entered by car is in the center. We’ll go around and check out the central site as well. We’ll also take a look at the campsite next door. We locked the car for security reasons. ■Walk around the area near the slow plan First, head to the slow plan. From the campsite, head towards the toilets. Turn right in front of the toilets. Proceed next to the fenced campsite. There is someone walking their dog. It seems the trail continues to the left. To the right is the mountain bike trail. Be careful not to slip on the slope. From here onwards it is mountain bike only. The area continues to the bottom left. If you go back you will see a sign for the slow plan. This is the entrance and exit. From here onwards is the trail for dogs. This time you will walk outside the fence. There is a dog-priority trail and a bicycle trail. This is a place where you can park your car. Walk while watching out for bicycles. This is also the entrance and exit to the slow plan. Proceed as if you were on a bicycle. After walking a little way the path splits in two. There are two types of signs here as well. The sounds of birds echo through the forest. Take the path to the left. There are chairs and tables along the way. The slow plan ends here. ■Walk along the walking trail Proceed along the dog walking trail. When you return from the road, you will join the bicycle course. The path splits into several paths. It seems the slow plan continues. The buildings appear to be temporary toilets. From here on is the no-leash zone. It seems to continue quite far into the area. If you turn around, you will see a sign that says leads are required. The path continues to the lower right. Take the dog-right path on the left. If the ground is wet, it can be slippery. Go down a gentle slope. This is a sign for the dog walking course. There are insects, so you need to take precautions. There is a canoe lying along the way. Once you get over the fence, you can see the pond. There is a canoe and a pier here as well. I would like to try riding on the pond, but it looks difficult. The path on the left also continues to the far side. I am currently just before the pond. The no-leash zone stretches out to the lower right. I decide to head towards the center around here. I go back a little on the path I came. I noticed a slope on the left. This is also a dog walking course. I walked up the slope, watching my step. I could see the pond from the top of the slope. It appears to be divided into several ponds. There are ponds of various sizes. There are a third and fourth pond in the row. At the back is the campsite of the neighboring facility. As I walked up the slope, I could see a fence on the right. It seemed to be the central campsite. Beyond the forest was the central parking lot. The facility next door was for dogs only. I heard that it is run by the same company. ■Check the central site Check the central campsite. We go up a gentle slope. We arrive at an open area. If you look to the right, you will see the words “Camping Run.” There is a sign with the letter C halfway up a tree. It is surrounded by a fence and is very spacious. You can see a water source within the site. If you go around it, you will find the entrance where cars can enter. You can enter up to here from the parking lot. Next to it is Site B, and at the back is Site A. It is a quiet place surrounded by forest. It seems that you can enter the site at the back by car as well. If you look to the left, you will see the mountain bike trail. If you go back a little, you will find another site. Here you will see a sign for Site D. There is a large area where dogs can run around. This is also an entrance where cars can enter. If you go back towards the parking lot, you will find the kitchen. There are several water taps lined up. There is a charcoal and ash disposal area set up. Behind that is a bicycle washing area. If you go to the right, you will find the next site. This site is Site E. This is also a very large site. If you go a little further, you will reach the entrance to the next site. You can see the sign for Site F here. We have returned to the reception and parking lot. That’s all for our check of the central campsite. ■ Stroll along the cycle course Check the map again at the rest area. You’re at the central parking lot. The cycle course continues to the left. The route starts through the forest. From the campsite, use the toilets here. There are showers available 24 hours a day. Go past the toilets and you’ll come to a dog run. Return the way you came in by car. This is also a cycle course. Marron Run is for large dogs only. The temporary toilets are no longer open. There are no campsites, but for some reason there is a kitchen. There are a row of impressive sinks. We went up the hill and returned to the gate. This is the view from near the entrance. There is a sign for the campsite entrance. You’ll need to pay an admission fee beyond the gate. A little ways ahead is a one-way sign. I was intrigued by the food and drink corner. On the way back, exit from the road on the right. ■Go see the neighboring campsite Head towards the campsite we saw when we entered. Along the way, the road splits and you go to the right. This is a road that cars can use. After going further, you will come to a fenced-in site. There is a building that looks like a reception desk at the back. There are also a row of numbered sites on the right. I got permission to take photos at reception and made a reservation. I will visit next week to confirm the details. Returning to the area near our site, here are the rules for bicycles. You need to call out to reception before leaving. There are three campsites, including the neighboring facility. We walked quite a distance back to our car and tent. ■Summary A summary of the dog & cycle campsite. This time, we mainly explored the campsite. There are trails for bicycles and dogs. There is also a campsite in the center. There is another campsite outside the facility. On your way back, you will need to call out to reception to confirm. Next time, we plan to have a meal by the bonfire. To be continued next time.
