Cycling in Ehime – Iyo to Nagahama via Futami and Shimonada station
all right Beautiful People of the internet good morning and today I’m heading to nagahama where’s a famous bridge uh it’s near U Town Ando hopefully the weather will be beautiful as now and uh we’re just dropping down over over the Ridge and it should be all downhill and then flat along the ocean 30 kilm ride to nagahama so let’s enjoy this ride and let’s see if we can get there in time y yeah thank you for watching let’s go I got like a stick in my wheel something [Applause] hair pin Ocean View here we are setc and somewhere over there there is futami look at this beauty woo beautiful shikoku enjoy it with me here we are famous fut tummy beach with the stores and beautiful beaches we’re not going to go there yet maybe on the way back but now I’m pushing against the wind this is a South Wind Block in my face it’s nice but it’s hard so uh yeah we’re going to pass that and hopefully I can get to shimada station and show you a little bit more over there let’s go I have to say this is absolutely stunning riding here the ocean is flat calm the road is beautiful not really any BMS a little bit traffic cuz it’s Sunday but uh other than that woo what a what a day out right what a day out I think soon we will be coming to shimada station uh this is the kind of back street away from the main road I think this is the way let’s see oh yeah I can see it over there here we are the famous Shimon station let’s check it out [Music] just in time for train lck us perfect deew people come to see beautiful [Music] view train with the views [Music] all right as you can see we made it to shim station and a lot of people behind me taking pictures and enjoying the view but we got to head Against the Wind to nagahama which is that way hopefully we can make it let’s [Music] go stay in the shade wow look at that view heading down south beuty [Applause] here we are arrived to nagahama ah it was a hot one now let’s see if we can find the bridge beautiful flowers oh I can see the bridge it’s way over there but I can see [Music] it here we are at the famous bridge of nagahama Red Bridge look at that beauty [Music] beautiful Nama Bridge there is the big bridge with the road it’s the new bridge [Music] towards oou and IO beautiful [Music] morning and here is my trusty specialized fuse comp 29er with a hair gun grips much more comfortable for these long rides and rck bro’s bag for tools and water extra water two bottles and ready to roll also my GoPro so here we are guys we made it to the bridge it’s a beautiful Bridge beautiful day beautiful Breeze blowing from the river and uh there’s nobody here so it’s even better and now I’m going to take a little break and head back to fut tummy Beach and then back to my car where I need to pick up my son from his succer practice so what a break let’s go let’s take a ride over the bridge to the other side and then we’re going to head back enjoy the beauty [Music] right from under the bridge look at it what a sound [Music] heading back near the ocean the smell of seaweed Cool Breeze ah Beauty those mountains over there in the back I don’t know if you can see them that’s where we have to get over those mountains and then we’re back where we started so yeah it’s probably about 20 km to go let’s go one of the most important things on these rides is to stay hydrated I have a big problem with it I really need to make myself to drink because I’m so busy thinking about everything so yeah let’s drink feels good now we coming to the Simon station but from the bottom you can see it maybe over there on the top this is actually first time I went from the top uh from the bottom always go up there check it out there a little cute station people waiting for train good tummy Beach people swimming it is summer not so many people yet it’s a good day for swim take a little break [Music] f all right time to head back [Music] and now we are doing the last climb it’s 2.5 km [Music] there you go guys back at where we started thank you for watching thank you for joining me on this adventure and see you next time bye-bye but I think it’s more of a bushwacking mission than uh than a ride today
