today we are taking you on an adventure across the CH manami kaido a route full of pedaling carrying us through beautiful views Salty Sea Air and delicious food we blasted off the shinkansen 3 and 1 half hours from Tokyo to fukuyama where our grumbling bellies got a fair amount of delicious local food the next day after a generous breakfast we travel by train to onomichi where we pick up the bikes to start our 32 kilm cnic ride to our rokan in iuchi gima an island that offer us the best sushi and rest the second leg of the trip was a 40 km ride to the remaining island of the peninsula until we reach our hotel in imabari [Music] foree so what are we doing today so today we’re starting the shimanami kaido we’re going to take the train to onomichi and there we’re going to rent bicycles at the Oni bicycle terminal and make our way to our destination on the first day which is chi Jima [Laughter] awesome oh [Music] [Music] there she [Music] go we just St Midway inoshima Midway we are eating some delicious local sweets and it’s delicious it’s a citrus fruit in the middle and covered with anko anochi so their specialty is two kinds of D fuku they have Cafe D fuku so like a cafe o and then they have Haku and Haku is like a like a manikan what is the pastry chef was very nice very good the second treat that we bought is yeah and the first one was delicious one was like a entire M right in the center wow face at it all so I no way to eat mine well you’re not going to like it you should give it to me let’s [Music] see [Music] [Music] so this is our dinner for today um so we have sashimi and many other delicious right and our Mis [Music] soup [Music] [Music] only so so if you are hungry and you want to eat H close to oima oima oim please come here right it’s very very good ta ta ta this is TA and this one and handmade oh handmade the the the bread is handmade fantastic and and um Tomo Tomo Tomo so this we are very close to finish uh we are like 10 kilm from the end it’s not difficult at all it was 70 km we go to our hotel at the imab uh this is the intern what is IM koku Kai k we finished our journey with a two night state in imabari which was a very cute non-touristic town we explore the castle the port and multiple cafes and enjoy the onen and restaurants at our hotel overall the shimanami kaido has been one of the best experiences we have had in Japan so far please let us know in the comments below what was your favorite part of this video or if you have any questions about the shimanami kaida thank you for watching
