Cycling is the perfect way to enjoy the Japanese countryside, and Fukui understood that quite well! Many towns across Fukui offer bicycle rental services, some with e-bikes, and many cycling routes are available for visitors, especially in the southern part of the prefecture with the Wakasabay Cycle Route.
But today let’s explore the northern part of Fukui by cycling in Katsuyama, the Dinosaur Town! 🦕
For this tour, we visited:

・The Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum (https://www.dinosaur.pref.fukui.jp/en/)
・And plenty of dinosaur monuments!
The whole trip takes about 2 hours from start to finish while using an electric bike. But don’t forget to add each stop’s visiting time to your schedule! (Think about 4-5 hours in total)
And safety first! Wear a helmet! 🚴♂️
