Hatta also has a criminal record for violent crimes. On June 27, 2013, a male classmate was stabbed with a knife by Hatta, who was a high school student at the time, at a high school in Narashino City where Hatta was said to have attended, and was seriously injured. At that time, Hatta was arrested for attempted murder. For this incident, Hatta was sent to Kiryugawa Juvenile Detention Center. On September 8, 2023, the National Police Agency designated Hatta Yoichi as a wanted suspect and issued a nationwide wanted notice for violation of the Road Traffic Act.
