Tour de Kyushu: Day 11 bike packing to Miyazaki
Day 11 to the Kushu from Nango to Subushi and we already started the climb at 5 km mark. How you feeling coach? Good. Really good. Feeling good. We had a fantastic breakfast. The uh real car that we stayed at was great. Very friendly staff. Yep. It’s recommended. We definitely recommend coming to Nango and staying at the real car. Yep. How about you, Jace? Yeah, super pumped for today. Kicking off with a nice little stretch of the legs up a hill. Wouldn’t couldn’t be any other way. 2 km or 3 km would average 9% healthy. We’re almost at the end of the first climb and kept going up and up. It’s really good gradient. It’s really gradual and the views are amazing. Look at this. You just can’t get enough of this. 11 days. 9 days of riding or 11 really. We haven’t been stopping. [Music] [Music] Hey, hey, hey. [Music] Heat. Hey, [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. N. [Music] [Applause] [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] What? 90 98 99. It’s about 90 km. Halfway to go. And her lunch ramen. You come with my thumb. All right, we passed Miyazaki and we’re on our way to Nishinan Peninsula Ride again. About 90k left to the accommodation. [Music] [Music] But you could always do [Music] Heat. [Music] Heat. Heat. Heat. N. [Music] [Music]
Day 11 of #bikepacking around the island of #kyushu #japan. Started from Nangomikado heading towards Miyazaki via Saito.
The whole day was really strange, started with a beautiful weather then changed into a heavy rain. From then on it was a patchy rain followed by mother of all wind.
Had to cut 20km off as we felt like we being pushed back with the headwind.
We made it to Shibushi at sunset right on time for dinner and hot bath.
