J’ai acheté un MICRO TRACTEUR ! (IL GRIMPE AUX ARBRES !)
hello everyone I hope you are well I am so happy today because I have just bought my first micro tractor so if you have followed me from the beginning you know very well that I have just bought a large agricultural tractor a few months ago already but we are not at all on the same size behind me the I956 it is a purely agricultural tractor so today we find it on farms we will say medium but at the time in 80 90 it was we really found it on large farms and it was often the lead tractor so the main tractor for farm work with that we could work we will say up to 100 hectares it’s a big tractor it weighs 5 tonnes5 so it has a big traction capacity it has a big lifting capacity at the front and at the rear obviously you can handle loads at height you can lift finally lift things up to 4.50 and so on so it’s really a big tractor with which you could do almost everything in a super reliable and quite economical way today with all its qualities well obviously it’s still used by farmers but it’s also very popular with foresters because it exists in four-wheel drive mode it goes everywhere it can lift heavy and so on or by people like me who have a lot of work to do who have a lot of load to lift with the animals that we have the bales of hay the big bags and so on there it is really very useful but obviously there is an email otherwise I would n’t be here today presenting you a micro tractor well an agricultural tractor it’s big it’s heavy it’s cumbersome sometimes it’s difficult to maneuver and that’s where the microtractor comes into play a microtractor it’s light so you don’t compact the soil it’s manageable so it will allow you to access places that are difficult to access with trees in groves it’s compact so it will allow you to enter traditional buildings with fairly low ceiling heights and then just for storage it takes the place of a moped whereas this takes the place of a bus that’s really nothing to see so typically a tractor like this we will find it in the maintenance of green spaces in market farming and for small livestock farms roughly there it works 100 hectares and a micro like this we do between 1 and 2 hectares so why I bought a microact and well typically for the three points that I mentioned to you before firstly the green spaces at the bottom I have land with quite a few trees uh I have already tried to go there with the big tractor clearly it’s a hassle the other day two days ago I was there again I almost snagged a fork I stopped at that from a tree and when you break agricultural equipment on a big tractor like that it’s very expensive so with this one it will be much more adapted much easier and you’ll see that afterwards we’ll go for a walk with the little tractor because we have work down there besides secondly the breeding we have a big chicken coop in a building inside and for the priest today we have to do that with a wheelbarrow with a fork simply because the big one tractor does not pass it is too high so we clearly but really make 12 round trips to the wheelbarrow uh full the manure which overflows each time thing it’s a real hassle so with that theoretically we put a baette at the back we put the ass in the henhouse all inside a round trip upwind and that’s it we’re going to save time and uh comfort and thirdly the marshing we have since we moved here every year we do the vegetable garden with our neighbor so we work the land there is 60 m² rather than doing it by hand it allows us to go more quickly to save money afterwards I know that there are other ways of doing it but for us the vegetable garden is the first years that we are doing it so we have no experience and other much more personal element but which still has its importance on this tractor is that it belonged to a relative that I loved very much who is no longer there unfortunately and so the fact of having it well it allows me to have a memory a tool that belonged to him who used it so I will be able to keep it maintain it continue to keep it alive and so for me it has a real sentimental value well now that you know everything we will be able to talk about this microtractor it is a Kubota B 1750 kubota it is the world leader in microtractors followed by two companies Yanmar and Iszeki do you know what these three companies in common and well quite simply these three companies which are Japanese and there is a real reason for that is that in Japan it is a country which is very mountainous and all the agricultural operations at the time were small because of the terrain so they were generally small farms of one hectare maximum which were on terraces and therefore it was impossible to work with large agricultural tractors quite simply because they were not made to work on small machines as we said earlier it’s not maneuverable et cetera that’s why these three brands Kubota Iseki and Yanmar specialized in the microtractor market and then throughout the world well that’s it’s it’s tools that appealed to a lot of people so like the farriers the winegrowers et cetera because it was very suitable for small-scale work we’re going to say so Kubota B1750 what does that mean it looks like a name of code b is the series number basically in microtractors there are plenty of series b we are a little in the middle of the size of the microtractor engine level it goes from 8 to 30 horsepower eh I’m not an expert then 17 it corresponds to the same thing approximately to the power of the engine so overall we have 17 horsepower I think in reality it’s 18 or 19 I don’t really know and 50 they call that the generation it’s not at all the 50s it’s like it corresponds to phase 1 phase 2 phase 3 so but once again it’s the code names at Kubota it’s the complete SUC because there were two generations the generation where the code name didn’t mean anything like there are Kubota B7001s they don’t have at all 70 horsepower series 1 it’s just that they were reference code names internally in the company it wasn’t done at all for the consumer and then there is generation 2 at Kubota where you have this code name which is more or less consistent but not always true so it’s complicated to find your way after you have to look at the technical sheet here for the history of this one uh this engine level it’s a 3 cylinder 17 horsepower 18 19 I don’t really know it doesn’t have a registration card so you see there is no license plate there is no registration card it’s obviously a qu driving wheel so that’s very nice in terms of weight it’s it doesn’t exceed a ton we’re around 950 kg something like that in size it’s really compact we’re going to measure it for the first time roughly without the masses we have an incredible 2.50 it’s less than a m in width height without arch it’s the highest exhaust that’s it 1.35 and with the arch since it’s narrow it turns around easily you have to be very careful with it that’s 2.10 obviously on that we have a power take-off we can put almost all the tools that we can put on the big tractors but they’re miniature tools each time so uh I don’t know if we can put all the tools like I’m not sure there are log splitters and so on that kind of thing but overall it’s a bit the same thing so we have a double-speed rear power take-off we have an equally central power take-off here as you can see at the end of my finger we have an angle gear and we can put for example a self-propelled mower uh this kind of tool there is also we can equip these microrctors with front loaders like the big tractor with a bucket with a Pigbot with a crocodile bucket here are these kinds of things for handling the branches of the trunks of manure in fact here it is really we can equip them like the big ones but in miniature we can even put backhoes at the back so an excavator arm I love I love the look that it has when they are fully equipped these tractors really look like little toys but for adults this one so it has 3200 he for a microtractor I don’t know if it’s a lot or not I know that on the big ones they say that at 10000 he it starts to make uh there 3000 well that seems little to me after all Kubota they have a reputation from hell so uh that seems correct to me There you go, look at me, I’m going to open the hood for you, well, the mess there, it’s clearly a lawn mower, there’s not much there, the radiator, the air box, the alternator, the engine block, it’s at the bottom, but it’s a toy, what we have, we have the weights at the front, 3 x 25 kg , uh, that helps a lot with traction because when you carry heavy tools at the back, you quickly start to spin all over the place, so this one has four wheels. motors he obviously in araire tires they exist in grass tires that avoids marking the ground and so on so we’re going to go through the controls what I didn’t tell you is that it’s a hydrostatic tractor I think we say like that it’s an automatic gearbox I have an accelerator a reverse gear finally yeah so a forward gear a reverse gear but I don’t have any gear to shift it was actually a Bota cutting invention at the time obviously we have the brake uh at the original location the clutch on the left foot to my right is the lifting of the three-point hitch at the rear it’s traditional just below we have two speed ranges there I’m in neutral and there I have the long speed range here it’s just on the left that ‘s the engagement of the front point basically it’s for interconnection here we have another lever I lower I go down it’s a linkage system which joins the front axle but I don’t yet know what it is for so I did all my research that I could on the internet I found nothing so you see there is a kind of box there next to the steering box I really don’t know what it is for if there are any of you who know and well it will be very useful to me well on all tractors we have that that is the idle so there 800 rpm we will say and there we can go up to 2008 from there ok the other side we have a big lever there which is visually very present that guys it’s the cruise regulator when I push it it presses the [ __ ] accelerator and it’s really a regulator it’s when you have a long job to do for example you’re plowing you make furrows over 100 m rather than pressing the [ __ ] for 10 minutes there which because the hydrostatic pedals you still have to keep them pressed so it forces on the leg and so they put this automatic regulator that I love it it’s well studied then so here I told you the clutch here we have the rear axle differential lock I did some tests mine doesn’t seem to work so to know where it comes from I think it ‘s either capricious or it doesn’t work I’ll have to research that a bit and then last command right there so there I am in neutral it’s the engagement of the rear PTO so there are two speeds short neutral speed and slow speed or the opposite I don’t even know anymore I haven’t done enough yet to know it well uh there it is and then here there are two switches but I don’t know yet what it works for it seems to be the headlights but there is nothing that works so I don’t know yet there should be a horn besides but I don’t know where it’s not in terms of equipment either as you can see I didn’t buy the bare tractor I bought five tools it’s called a shredder barrel it’s between the rotary cutter and the lawn mower it’s going to do a job uh basically it’s made to cut everything that is tall grass uh the shoots the Rumex the nettles this kind of thing it’s a big roller which turns with we’ll say metal parts at the end and it comes it comes to cut in fact clearly but not as clearly as a lawn stretcher everything that everything that passes in its path second tool so that’s a rotovator that’s made for large brush, brambles and so on you have two big blades sometimes there are three which turn and which tear up everything in their path here third tool that’s a rotovator that’s after basically having passed the plow in a field you pass that for to loosen to turn over all the earth and be able to plant it very easily by hand roughly and the last two tools so here the famous tank which is made to turn the earth to make furrows and here well the famous benette uh which is made of very thick steel this one but I am missing the drop side there to close the bath so that’s what we transport materials tools here to go uh in the meadows and so on have a title of comparison look at that that’s the bath of the microtractor and right there we have the Bette of the I 956 so you see it is it is clearly three times bigger we put the dog kibble here because otherwise the pigs the turkeys they will eat the dog kibble and so it’s quite an organization and besides I would like to try to hitch it to the bottom of the microtractor I think that it must go there uh it seems to be able to pass the Bette it is the size of the tractor that’s fine be quite amusing, well enough of the blabla now we’re going to go test the beast we’re going to try the tools that I presented to you and just after we’ll test it off-road just to see what it’s worth in 44 it’s funny this little toy there you see on terrain like this with the H it’s really complicated to pass between two trees I have to try twice each time you fail to hook up the charger and that’s when you really go around a tree like that endless what so it’s it’s really much more suitable so that’s our little piece of land on which we raise the ducks the guinea fowl and so on with the little mar so that’s really great and as you can see it still grows quite a bit in nettles in tall grass there are all the branches of the grass which inevitably fall and so on so for the tone of the shredder it’s really going to be ideal what come on I’m going to turn it on we’re going to do a little cleaning we have to be careful of the green die you quickly feel the little toy go away anyway we’re going to do the abseil ah and hop there look at me that we’ve done a good job now I’m unhitching the shredder and we’re going to have a little fun oh there I’m up there incredible vertical so now I wasn’t expecting it go on little bridge crossing test in two-wheel drive go a little hill for the end in four-wheel drive ok so here we arrive in the famous vegetable garden that I was talking to you about at the beginning of the video so we had already prepared the ground with the Plow and the Rotovator there we planted potatoes there for this winter new potatoes here then onions and so as you can see it has really grown so the land is not not ours, we kindly lend it to us and so the least we can do is to maintain it so here we are going to put a clipper everywhere so that it is a little neater that too it is beautiful mechanics well now that we can see a little more clearly we are going to sow the radishes and the carrots my little radish seeds it looks like this and I am going to put about one every 2 cm with a ladle it is true that I have the impression of salting a rib of beef there it rises very quickly in 6 days it rises the carrots it looks like that I made some last year also mixed with the radishes but it never took well come on we’re going to try that again so now we’re going to see if we can hitch the benette de l’H the big Bette well well suddenly very happy the big basket it mounts on the microtractor now there’s just a matter of cleaning all that we’re going to put a little bit of fresh straw on them mission finished just one bathtub to stuff everything the manure really replaces 12 wheelbarrows I think you can’t imagine how happy we are that’s a good thing well I just saw that we had a little problem with the bathtub when I lift it you see that m effort it basically raises the nose of the tractor problem is that from the start as soon as I lift the tool from the rear hitch I feel the tractor working surprisingly strangely we’re going to say look come and see here you see the two bolts the one here and the one that is in bottom I’m going to activate the rear lift the bolts they are unscrewed we have the whole chassis working so I’m going to remove the basket and for the work tomorrow we will hitch the basket with the Y because it will be more adapted to tomorrow’s work well come on new task and not the least this time we have a yard here which is 2000 m² it’s been 2 and a half years since we cleaned it so as you can see it’s making a lot of gravel a little further down there it there’s earth that gets in there so in winter it keeps the humidity it goes into the coating it freezes it splits it so we have to clean it incredible the efficiency but incredible it’s a battery-powered motorized handle on which you can mount a whole bunch of tools and at the end you can put a wire cutter a dress edging a brush cutter a chainsaw blade to cut the branches you can put a pruner you can put lots of things a pruner also lots of things really it’s a super thing I’m super happy with it come on we’re going to put it here there’s some passage in winter it’s all full of end so how is it going to stabilize oh it didn’t happen the way I thought it was going to happen oh well at least there’s nothing left ah yeah there’s nothing left magnificent that’s it I’ve taken the shot ok guys 7th full gravel bath I’m rinsed I’m not doing that again twice fortunately I didn’t do this site with the microtractor because with the weight that was in the bathtub with its unscrewed frame there frankly I think I would have cut it in two so fortunately I have Lia I’m starting to I’m happy I’m starting to be well equipped there what I had what I missed on this site is a bucket on Lia I could have picked up the state directly from the bucket rather than at the call it’s been 3 and a half days that we’ve been picking up gravel I don’t know if you see the quantity there but there there is there is a thickness of 40 cm here anyway, anyway that’s a very good thing done it still makes it much better than earlier well it’s not quite finished there are still small piles but in fact it will never be finished because I noticed as soon as I make a half turn with the tractor with the big crampons it loosens the gravel it makes a mess this slab I think we’re going to modify it a little because we don’t have the use of a if there is a large parking lot, we’re going to say, you see this whole strip there, I’m going to come and clear it all out with the tractor when I have a bucket and we’re going to do some landscaping just to add grass, uh, add, you see, 400 m² of grass to make it easier to maintain the slab, have a bigger garden, same thing. here in front of the house over there there are two little things and it’s not there’s not enough grass I think we’re going to do something again uh tell me if you’re interested if I do a project on this a big earthworks project with the tractor same thing behind the house there’s a little bit of work for me it would make me so crazy handling the bucket thing it’s I love it so if you like it well we’ll do that a little bit later and uh and now the little micro tractor very happy with this micro tractor that’s really complementary with the H on the other hand there are still quite a few things to review on it I think that in terms of maintenance completely gone so I will have to do in my opinion an oil change not affected you leave it go outside yeah cohabitation with the cat it takes a little bit of time anyway so in my opinion in terms of maintenance we will start everything from the beginning all the drains all the liquids all the filters then general check the mechanics that’s it ball joints there are ball joints that have play I have to check the rear differential the chassis which separates in two here tell me if this is a video that might interest you I really like it I hope you liked this episode and we’ll see you again as usual in the next video
