The World’s Most Amazing Hosts 🇿🇦 vA 158

I ride from the border between Namibia and South Africa, to Steinkopf, in South Africa.
South Africa is really insane, as I ride from one of the most extraordinary lodges I ever stayed at (a place where I could not pay for anything), to another extraordinary lodge, where the hosts give exceptionally low prices to cyclists and backpackers, and where the hosts go as far as creating a room out of nowhere, in order to be able to host cyclists when their guest house is full.

  1. "Hello Yves, congratulations, my friend! You did it! I'm from Eritrea, but now I live in Ethiopia. I have one question for you: why haven't you visited Eritrea?" 🇪🇷🇪🇷🇪🇷

  2. Do all French people eat like you do? Why even use fork and knife.. Just lift plate and let food slide into your mouth..

  3. @Kino – You're missing the best parts of South Africa – Go Durban from Springbok, then take the coastline through Natal, Eastern Cape and Western Cape to Cape Town (it adds some extra distance) but worthwhile on non-return

  4. Congratulations for making it to South Africa 🎉 Yves you are a very dedicated Man I have come to know via the internet watching your Journey from last year.. has been inspiring 🙏🏽. Love from Zambia 🇿🇲
