Nakasendo Cycling Route – Mitake to Inuyama Alternate
The Nakasendo Trail became largely paved over as urban population expanded. Sometimes there is just nothing left except the small remnants. The cycling through busy roads and endless intersections can be stressful. One such segment is from Mitake to Inuyama. Coming off the Okute-juku beautiful postal town then abruptly forced into civilization is dis heartening. So – here’s a more rural option. Not officially the Nakasendo – but still in the valley and just a few km away. Do you prefer this?
