Cycling Japan: Sabae to Tsuruga

This was the third day of cycling in Japan. A pleasant sunny day through the Fukui prefecture. This region has recently been connected to a Shinkansen line (to Tsuruga), yet it still seems way off the tourist track.
We learned how to make a sharp knife, how to cycle in near pitch black tunnels and the fact that whistling in Japan is BAD!
65 km of cycling with roughly 600m of climbing.
