CYCLEATHON Ⅲ – Day 13-15: 246.8 km from Akita to Mori
I’m making a video series of my 3rd cycling trip around Japan!
A cycleathon is like a subathon on Twtich but instead of increasing a timer, subs, bits and gifts increase a distance counter that I have to cover while cycling.
Since I want to try a new route this year, I’m gonna go north but via part of the Nakasendo trail! So far we’ve already met a bunch of incredible people and seen some wicked views. I hope you enjoy the series as we go toward the less traveled areas of Japan!
On days 13-15, We made our way NORTH! Heading up the west side of Japan, passing Akita, Odate (where we met two of the most amazing Akita Inu’s) with Hachiko’s home town. Then finally making it to Hokkaido! Famous for milk, lamb, seafood, and melons! Hope you enjoy!

Had the time of my life when I went to Odate, it's the town I'd live in if I moved to Japan and a had a choice of places to live. I can't explain it but it felt like home when I walked out of that station. It was amazing.

for those who weren't there, night 13 rob walked 20 minutes through rain and gale force winds to a ramen place that was closed and had to settle for supermarket bento instead, absolutely classic
less sound effects and memes please. I'm just interested in the notable things that happened. cool things, interactions with people, funny moments etc but the over the top sound effects and memes are so annoying. I really liked the older style of videos better
