全国女子駅伝2024　京都・宮城　首位攻防

皇后盃 第42回全国都道府県対抗女子駅伝競走大会が開催された。京都市右京区のたけびしスタジアム京都をスタート・フィニッシュとする付設駅伝コースで、47都道府県のチームが参加した
大会は、中学生から社会人までの9人のランナーがたすきをつなぐマラソンと同じ距離のコースで争われた。最終9区で宮城が逆転し、29年ぶり2度目の優勝を果たした。

Empress Cup The 42nd National Inter-Prefectural Women’s Ekiden Tournament was held. Teams from 47 prefectures participated in the attached relay race course, which started and finished at Takebishi Stadium Kyoto in Ukyo Ward, Kyoto City.
The event was contested by nine runners, ranging from junior high school students to working adults, over a course the same distance as a marathon, with sashes tied together. Miyagi came from behind in the final 9th ​​ward and won for the second time in 29 years.
