Almost there! This is the Kema lock. This is the starting point of the Yodogawa Cycling Road. However, it’s not official, it’s just a wide riverbed. There are many such gates along the Yodogawa River. This is the 1st gate immediately after starting from the Kema Lock. The road continues above the embankment, but descends to the riverbed. On the riverbed, there are tennis courts and grounds where he can play sports such as baseball, soccer, and rugby. Additionally, there are public toilets located throughout the area, so you can enjoy cycling in comfort. The visibility around here is wide open, so you can run very comfortably. There are two large cranes lined up in front. This seems to be a maintenance project for the Kema Lock. I think it is used as a materials storage area or a staff station. The gate is now in sight. The 2nd gate. And soon the 3rd gate. There is a tennis court here as well. A truss-structured iron bridge appeared in front. This is a railway bridge on the JR Osaka East Line. On the left, a part of the Yodogawa River looks like a pond, and there seem to be a few people fishing. What can you catch here? The color of the road surface has changed. From here on, the road conditions will become extremely bad for a while. You can’t really feel it on camera, but you can feel the vibrations through your body. I passed through a rough section of road. On the right is the Osaka Institute of Technology Omiya Campus. Next to it is Josho Gakuen Junior and Senior High School. There is a mysterious tower in front of you on the right. What on earth is it? This tower is said to be the NTT Docomo radio tower. The gate is now in sight. The 4th gate. And the 5th gate. I entered Moriguchi City, but clouds were beginning to spread in the sky. The 6th gate. The 7th gate. What you can see in front is the Moriguchi Junction. It connects the Kinki Expressway and the Hanshin Expressway No. 12 Moriguchi Line. The Osaka Monorail runs on the other side of the bridge. The gate is now in sight. There is the 8th gate, but it’s open today, so we just go through it. I entered Neyagawa City. The 9th gate was closed. The gate is now in sight. The 10th gate. Next is the 11th gate. The gate is now in sight. The 12th gate. The 13th gate. The Torikai Ninnaji Ohashi Bridge can be seen in front. It is a bridge where the toll fee is 100 yen, and there is a toll gate. The gate is now in sight. The 14th gate. The 15th gate. The gate is now in sight. The 16th gate. This is Hirakata City. The clouds are getting quite thick. The gate is now in sight. The 17th gate. There are deep ruts in front of the gate, so pass carefully. The 18th gate. There are deep ruts in front of the gate, so pass carefully. The gate is now in sight. It’s the 19th gate in the foreground, but it seems like it’s always open during the day. This is the 20th gate. Pass through a brick-paved park. From here I will drive on a little gravel section. The 21st gate. From here on out, it feels like a barren landscape. I finally saw something, but it was a golf course. Turn left here. This is the 22nd gate in a while. The riverbed is now a golf course, and we run on the road outside it. The road under construction that appears ahead is the Shin-Meishin Expressway. The 23rd gate. Continue straight ahead from here. Finally, destination the Sakuradeaikan was in sight. By the way, this is Yawata City, Kyoto Prefecture. Now go through the final gate. There were 24 gates from the Kema Lock to the Sakuradeaikan. I crossed the bridge and arrived at the Sakuradeaikan. There is also a shop inside, making it a convenient place to rest. Thank you for watching.
