This course is dotted with scenic spots such as Echizen Cape (selected as one of Japan’s best sunset spots), and the natural tunnel called “Yobutora Gate” formed by the rough waves of the Sea of Japan. If you’re up for a challenge, this cycling route offers stunning views and a sense of accomplishment! Echizen Cape is located in Chigahama, Echizen Town, Nyu County, Fukui Prefecture, and is a cape facing the Sea of Japan (the eastern end of Wakasa Bay).
