凄腕モデラーさんの作品を見てきた!はたさん編

I saw the work of a talented modeler! Atelier MORIJI, which is in charge of dioramas, is planning to take a look at the works of talented modelers and introduce the wonders of their works.

This time it’s a work by Mr. Hata from the theater company Saint-Paul. He has won numerous prizes in TMS layout competitions, and you can see some of his wonderful works at Gekidan Saint Paul’s corner at the International Railway Model Convention (JAM) held every summer ! Please come and visit us! !

This time, with Mr. Hata’s kind permission, the work we will be introducing is “Shimoshinmei Station” on the Tokyu Oimachi Line! Thank you, Hata-san! Thank you! *Please understand that the images were taken over several years. I’ve seen the work of a talented modeler! Hata-san’s diorama recreates densely packed houses and shops, and

Is a masterpiece in which all of the buildings are completely scratch-made. The diorama recreates the Shinkansen, Yokosuka Line, and freight line dynamically intersecting on the right. The height of the Shinkansen is the accent of the diorama, and the impressive location where the Yokosuka Line and Shonan-Shinjuku Line diverge is recreated.

Mr. Hata’s works are amazing for their detailed expressions and reproductions of life, recreated with a keen eye for observation. Pay attention to the wiring under the elevated Oimachi Line! Detailed work under the guard! Detailed work around the bridge! The large amount of information makes it stand out.

This is Shimo-Shinmei Station, where I photographed the production process. It will be a sight that will almost disappear when completed. The overall image of the station will be hidden behind the building after the diorama is completed, and you won’t be able to see it, but this construction is amazing!

The notation, fence, and bottom of the platform are all delicate. This is a valuable image of the part of the station building that will no longer be visible after completion. The station name signboard is illuminated. The kiosk not only has red telephones, but also newspapers! Hata’s works are delicate and detailed.

The duct is also recreated above the ticket vending machine building. The foundations of the girders and overhead line columns are also very delicate. The roof, walls, and windows are all made with care. You will learn how to work. Memo : Rain gutters are also installed on the steel frame under the stairs.

The platform towards Futakotamagawaen is in the back, and the platform towards Oimachi is in the front. *This is the current Futakotamagawa Station. You can glimpse the steel frame between the roof and side wall. The unique fence is handmade. The evacuation area is also reproduced under the platform.

Advertising signboards reminiscent of the Showa era have also been recreated. The station name sign from the Showa era is also reproduced. The accessories in the home also add to the realism. The differences in home structure are beautifully reproduced. It’s exciting to see the differences in the girders reproduced.

I also want to be able to express myself like this. Surprisingly, you won’t be able to see it from this angle after it’s completed. After the building is placed, the Oimachi Line that runs along with daily life has been beautifully recreated.

The 5000 series suits me very well. It’s a wonderful piece of work that I would like to see the current vehicle as well. A dynamic grade-separated intersection with Shimo-Shinmei Station. There are probably many people who see this station from the Shinkansen.

As expected, you can hardly see inside the station building. *I can’t even focus anymore (lol)! Shimo-Shinmei Station is located deep in a dense residential area. Togoshi Park will be on your right. Oimachi is on the left. A carefully constructed elevated platform. This is all about introducing Shimo-Shinmei Station.

Introducing the diorama on the right where each route intersects. *During production, you can clearly see the differences in ground elevation. On the ground, the Yokosuka Line and Shonan-Shinjuku Line (freight line) merge dynamically. The construction around the tracks is also delicate. The area around the base of the overhead line column is also precise.

The zebra pattern is reproduced on the branch lines that support the overhead line columns! The side walls are made of H steel and are surprisingly delicate. Bicycles dumped on the road. And the wheels are off! A signboard on the slope of a concrete retaining wall. These accessories create a life.

This is the Togoshi Park side of the Yokosuka Line guard. Also on the Shimo-Shinmei side, they are made separately. Intersection of Yokosuka Line and Oimachi Line. Some of the electric wires are reproduced on the overhead line poles, making it very realistic.

The overhead wire pillars at the ends of the diorama are also carefully crafted. *It is assumed that the pillar has been extended. The Shinkansen will intersect above the Oimachi Line. Rain gutters were reproduced on the piers. A dynamic overpass is reproduced.

This is the scene you see on the left when you leave Shinagawa on the Shinkansen. A grade-separated intersection seen from the height of the Oimachi Line. Equipment boxes are also reproduced on the Shinkansen tracks. The three-story overpass has been precisely reproduced. From here, we will introduce densely populated residential areas.

You can clearly see the topography during production. The differences in ground height at each site are reproduced. It’s a lot of work to actually make it, but it’s pretty amazing! The figure with the gutter cover removed is Hata-san’s number 18. I also learned how to make it. Thank you!

The stone pavement of the alley has also been recreated. You will learn about the order of work. Expressive power that makes it obvious that it is a culvert at a glance. The expression of the dark bridge is also wonderful! The slope continues from the culvert to the station.

From here, we will introduce buildings in residential areas. A scene from the Showa era beautifully recreated on the street in front of the station. There is a bicycle shop on the street, and the rain gutter has a well-built water collector, and not only the meter has been recreated, but

Even the human figure has been faithfully recreated! The cleaning shop on Ekimae Dori has an open window, which is a nice touch! ! Customers leaving the store are also recreated. Children attending an abacus class, fire extinguishers on the road. There is Okamochi for delivery next to the Chinese restaurant!

There is an inn next to the culvert with guests staying overnight. Nostalgic everyday scenes are recreated. It’s amazing how each building has its own unique personality! I never get bored because the buildings next to each other are built differently. It brings back memories of seeing these buildings when I was a child.

Buildings like this were common in the Showa era. Meters, trash cans, fire extinguishers, and employees stretching out. Newspaper in the mailbox, ah! Cardboard box! ! Personally, I’m happy to be able to come up with the same ideas as the masters! ! This apartment has reproductions of clothespins for hanging clothes.

A mailbox, a milk crate, and a washing machine next to the entrance! The odor removal from the toilet has also been recreated. There is a solid toilet tank manhole at the base of the odor remover. Laundry is hung out to dry in this window.

The building on the left has outside water and propane gas. Futons are hung to dry here. Each building is unique and expressive. We learned how to make a corrugated wall! thank you! This is really good! A back alley shop reminiscent of a street corner snack bar.

You can feel Hata’s love for his work in the attention to detail, such as the addition of a building made of corrugated iron . You can see that the buildings have been constructed with great care, as their expressions change when you change the viewing angle. The roof hangings are also intricately expressed,

Making it a great reference for creating dioramas! Mr. Hata taught me various production methods and I am practicing little by little. When you come to JAM, please take a look at Hata’s wonderful works in person! Thank you for viewing this far! Thank you so much Hata! Thank you for watching so far!
