Chatting while driving

Hello. Today, I was planning to continue working in the garden, replanting trees and pruning. But since last night, the rain and thunder have been severe. Although it’s easing up now, until just a moment ago, it was pouring rain, so I can’t work in the garden today.

I need to do maintenance on my saxophone, which is overdue. Since the timing has passed, I’ll take a break from work today and head to the music store in town to ask them to do maintenance on my saxophone. Lamp likes riding in the car, so I invited her to come with me,

But she declined, maybe because she heard the rain and thunder. Right now, Yona and Gwin are probably curled up on my bed together. It’s been raining for the past few days, but the temperature is high. The outside temperature is around 16°C, but it seems it will get colder again

Around next weekend. I don’t know when to clean the stove. I’m not sure about the timing. In the main house, we use an oil stove, but every year, it’s difficult to use up all the kerosene. Since we live in the mountains, we sometimes need to use the stove even in May.

I’m feeling hungry now that it’s noon. Since I’m going to town anyway, I’m thinking of eating something I don’t usually have, like McDonald’s or something like that. When I think of something I don’t usually have, I feel like having something from a franchise chain, like Yoshinoya’s beef bowl.

Yoshinoya and McDonald’s taste good when you have them occasionally. The rain is getting stronger again. Oh, the Kawazu cherry blossoms are blooming already. Can you see them now? Oh, they’re visible. The Kawazu cherry blossoms are blooming. The clematis I planted in the garden last year is starting to grow leaves.

It’s going to be a nice season from now on. When I come down from the mountain, the rapeseed flowers are already starting to bloom here and there. They’re already blooming here and there. It’s almost spring. This year, the blossoms might come early.

Oh, it’s a leap year this year. There are 366 days until February 29. It’s a bit of a bargain this year. This year is the Paris Olympics. I want to travel abroad. If I do, I want to go to Paris. I want to go to Europe, not just Paris,

But also to France, Italy, and Switzerland. I’ve been to Switzerland before, but I haven’t been to France and Italy. When I went to Zurich, there were people playing musical instruments in various places around the city, like parks near the lake. There were old men playing the accordion and old women playing the violin.

I thought it was wonderful. Next time I go, I want to bring my saxophone and try doing a street live performance. If I could get some tips, maybe it would cover the cost of a coffee? When I went to Switzerland in 2019, I could only stay for about a week.

Next time I visit, if possible, I’d like to stay for about a month and travel to various cities. But it costs money. If you’re watching this video from overseas and you say, “If you come to my place, I’ll show you around,” please do. Europeans don’t understand my language,

So I can only communicate in my poor English. But well, nowadays, we have smartphones, so we can manage somehow. Anyway, I’ve arrived in the neighboring town of Ōtsu. There’s a McDonald’s here. This is Ōzu. Next is Kikuyō town, and beyond that is Kumamoto city. Kikuyō town is booming right now

Because a large factory of TSMC, a major semiconductor manufacturer in Taiwan, has been completed. New apartments are being built rapidly around here. The population is increasing, and the economy seems to be improving. Traffic congestion might increase too, but it’s good that the economy is improving. But it’s good that the economy is improving.

Everyone’s mood will improve too. I want to eat at “CoCo Ichibanya.” Lately, I’ve had a good appetite, and I want to eat everything I see. Ah, it’s Sukiya. I want to have a beef bowl. I usually have dinner around 6:30 in the evening. Then, I watch movies before going to bed,

And if I stay up late, I get hungry around 11 o’clock. It’s not good for my health to eat late, so I endure it and go to bed. Then, I wake up due to hunger in the morning. Ah, I want to have fried chicken. I feel like eating meat.

I feel like I’m lacking. Ah, I want to have yakiniku. I haven’t had yakiniku lately. My alcohol intake has decreased recently. I haven’t posted videos of me drinking beer lately, have I? Actually, I haven’t been drinking much. I didn’t want to admit it, but somehow,

The days after not drinking alcohol I feel good physically. Please don’t tell me to quit drinking because of this. You should be able to see Starbucks Coffee on the left. Can you see it yet? This Starbucks is where I met “Noyaki” as I mentioned before.

Noyaki was crouching in the middle of the parking lot here. Anyway, the rain is getting heavier. The rain is still heavy. I’ve safely dropped off my saxophone at the music store. It seems they’re very busy now, so it might take about a week. Not being able to practice the saxophone for a week

Is a bit of a problem. During that time, I’ll have to practice without using the instrument. Music theory, sight-reading, I’ll practice those things. But when I practice those things, I can’t help but want to play the instrument. But since there aren’t many opportunities to be forcibly separated from the instrument,

I’ll do my best to practice without using the instrument. I’m in Kumamoto city now. Nearby is where my house was until I was in high school. It’s nostalgic. If I was in high school, it’s already about 35 years ago. At that time, I used to ride around here on my bicycle.

I went everywhere by bike. My friend’s house was beyond the mountain, and I used to go there and come back by bike. High school students have endless energy. Well, anyway, whether this video is interesting or not, I don’t know, but maybe it’s good to have it as background music.

It might be less stressful than watching TV. I feel like there’s some demand for just a video of me driving to the music store without anything special happening recently. So, I’ll continue to publish videos like this. I’ve been publishing videos like this. I’ll keep going. Well then,

I’ll return to the cabin. See you later.

I had a cheeseburger at McDonald’s.

  1. I went to Japan/Okinawa in December. Yoshinoya was so good in Japan. In California it’s not the same at all. We have Coco Ichibanya here, but my homemade curry is better! I even bought some habu curry mix in Okinawa. Too scared to try it. It cost $35 US!! Maybe I got ripped off.

  2. G'day Hiro. Good to see you again. Wow no Sax for a week, Lamp will be happy. I get hungry late at night too. I make a cup of tea and have some biscuits, then my stomach is happy. I saw the beautiful Cherry blossoms. Thanks for the tour. Ciao for now. 😊🙏🙏😊

  4. He Brucke👋 !

  5. While you were driving I was watching the business signs. I noticed a Suzuki sign and I don't know if you would find this interesting, but I worked for SuzukiGM for 30 yrs at a large automotive factory in Canada. Now I am retired and I would love to travel like you spoke about. Thanks for taking us on your road trip because I really enjoy your field trips…👍

  7. Domo Arigato Gozaimasu! I will look forward to the adventures of Lamp and Brucke on the beach! I hope you will find cool driftwood and maybe glass floats. I check your channel each morning for new content – very enjoyable.

  8. I enjoyed your VL 🙂 and you look fine. Take no notice of what people say, It's your life do what you feel is right for you. I don't think they would like it if people started to tell them what to do, So be Happy enjoy life the way you want to. Have a great week 🙂. Love the Cabin and pets 🦮🐱🐱💕

  10. I love your video, thanks for sharing! Me from overseas : If you come to my place, I'll show you around! You'll have home, good food, plenty of music, the lovely "street cat" called Bitxo, the birds who already have a nest built for their babies, a guitar, a friend playing his saxophone, living from live music, organizing jazz concerts…Everything very simple! Once you're in Europe, it can be easy and not expensive moving from Italy, Switzerland, France…to other places. I'm in Spain, Barcelona, in a village in front of the sea, I'm Between the sea and the mountains, and at just four hours from South France, the pyrenees mountains. Maybe I can "help you" when travelling in Italy(I was living there during 7 years.). You have plenty and lovely options!!!! About communicating: For me there's no problem in communicating when two people want to communicate. wanting is power!!!! And if not…. lovely to share the silence!!!!! Salut!

  19. I'm very glad that you make such videos. It's nice to see what Japan looks like and life in it. And it's good to know that you solve similar problems and think about the same things even when you're on the other side of the globe. Petr from Prague.
