【林道ツーリング@福井】天空の林道 in 福井 Part 2/The sky trail in Fukui Part 2 (Dirt Trail Tour JPN) Vol.167

New video every Friday at 7:00pm(JST) Please subscribe! Now let’s get this week’s Rin2 Ch. started! This time it’s the part 2 of last week’s video. ※Link in the description for the last week’s video. We continue traveling on the sky trail in Fukui. “Nice view.”

You can see the road we have just traveled on the other side of the valley. Here’s a fork. I’m not sure if we can get through, but go left looking for a lunch spot. By the way, you might think what a ”sky road” is. If you define it,

It is, of course, a road that runs close to the sky, that is, along a ridge. but also a road where you can see the road you have just traveled and/or you will travel from now. Today, those videos in which people breaking through difficult spots are getting more interest.

But in this channel, I also hope to show the trails with spectacular view like this as many as possible. As we went further, we met a guy on KDX.

He said he had come back because the road to the left had become bush and it was not safe for him to go alone. For now move on, then… What are you doing? Go straight. And then… it was a dead end as shown on the map.

We had lunch here. After lunch we came back to the branch we just came down from the right. Now go left. This scenery looked familiar to me. It was Baja California, where I traveled more than 20 years ago. Baja California is like this.

From here we go down to the bottom of the valley. It’s quite a dynamic view. Now you can see the road below that we will take. “Oh, there’s something there, what was it?” “Waist water.” Waist water??? That’s a “wash over”!

It’s quite a unique thought process to go from wash → water, over → waist! We ended up going around the sky trail that branches off to the north side from the trail Hayashitani line, and came back to the Hayashitani line. One shot here. Another wash over. One more.

Actually, there is another sky trail ahead. The road we are about to take is coming into view up ahead. It’s so exciting to think that we are going there! In a sense, I guess it’s the same mindset as a mountaineer? It’s a pity that we missed the autumn leaves.

But since there are no leaves on the trees, it’s nice to have a clear view into the distance. And then, a branch. Went left at the branch, and then… A fallen tree was blocking the way. Looks like we can go the far right side. It was a piece of cake, but…

“What are you doing?” Move on further. Oh, another spectacular view! From here, it’s becoming another sky trail. Are we going to climb the mountain straight ahead? No, not yet. Looks like we’re going up that mountain now. Did we make it all the way up? No, we are still going up.

Here is another branch. Go left. It becomes downhill from around here. “Oh, wait a minute.” “I feel something wrong.” “Feels like a flat tire.” “Oh, I got a flat tire.” So, fix the flat tire. It was a rim hit. Fixed the flat tire in about 30 min.
