137- Copenhague Danemark | Un week-end de Noël

[Europe – Denmark – Copenhagen] [you can go to a specific sequence using the links in the description] [Vlog 137] I arrived in Copenhagen, I arrived yesterday evening So the weather is not nice, it’s cold , it’s raining but it doesn’t matter we’re still going to visit the city

Plus we’re a week away from Christmas It’s cool we’ll be able to enjoy the decorations So here we go Let’s go! So here I have a little moment, I will take the opportunity to give you a little information on the city So Copenhagen is the capital of Denmark

Originally it is a small fortified fishing village which was created by the Vikings in 1167 Later during the 17th century, under the reign of King Christian IV, it became one of the largest cities in Europe. Today it is populated by 650,000 inhabitants whose average age is 35 years! Yes it’s incredible!

Only 27% of Copenhagen’s inhabitants use the car since they prefer cycling, public transport or even walking. Every day, nearly 1.2 million kilometers are traveled by bike on 400 kilometers of cycle paths Copenhagen regularly ranks at the top of the cities where life is good in the world

And one of its most famous inhabitants is the little mermaid that we are going to try to find. So here I am taking you to a little neighborhood So we’re going to see, we’re going to discover together [I arrive in the Christianshavn district] And there we arrive on the water

Finally near the water Look, it’s nice It’s deserted but it’s nice I saw a footbridge a little further on We can cross We’ll take it There are a lot of bikes I don’t know where I can go? A priori I can go to the left. To the right it’s the bikes

. Look, it has orange seals. Look! Ah, it’s an ice rink! Ah, that’s great Wait, let’s get closer Here are the orange seals, what are they for? Great! There I find myself in front of a place called Christiana. Imagine that between 1971 and 2013

A group of squatters, Hipis and unemployed people formed a community bringing together up to 1000 inhabitants on 34 hectares who lived in self-management. They had created their own flag and even their own currency So this city within the city has sparked a lot of controversy particularly following the sale of drugs

Today there are only 200 inhabitants on less than 8 hectares And it has become a of the most visited places in Copenhagen, that’s it So well we’re going to go see that Come on, we’re going to go that way, there’s a sculpture at the back there

There we see the flag, there you see Come on, we’re going to try to go that way there It’s really a small residential area It’s incredible Oh my, look there It’s superb! It’s great ! Oh there, look it’s magnificent It’s superb And there look there is a meter

With the names of the children or the people who measured themselves, it’s excellent Well well there we have visited this incredible place It’s cool ! [I’m still in the Christianshavn neighborhood] This way it’s nice, look There’s a footbridge with a huge church at the end [“Wilders Bro” footbridge] Look It’s nice

There’s a little street there, we’re going go and take it There, we arrive at the end of the canal Great! This church is called “Christian Church” So I read in a guide that apparently inside it is set up like a theater

There are Loges all around and in the center there is a stage So we’re going to go see that It looks incredible It’s true that it’s incredible, look at These lodges there There you go, we had a good tour of the neighborhood

So now I suggest that we go visit another neighborhood that is a little further there It’s the city center, it’s called “Indre By” So we go there [Knippelsbro Bridge] Look, it’s excellent Look, great There’s a Christmas market there [“Højbro Plads” Square] It’s beautiful! There are people there! Ah yes indeed

There are a ton of people As much as there is no one in the streets there But everyone is here [Street “Støgei”] Oh dear but it’s crazy the people there has ! I don’t know ? What is happening ?

Well, we’re going to try to get out of here because, I don’t really like the world as you know And then it’s full of shops so it’s really a very commercial place That’s not what interests me So we’ll find another way Oh dear, the world there is is amazing! [Street “Købmagergade”]

We’ll try to turn into the small streets there It’s a little quieter Look, there’s still a Christmas market there This little square is super beautiful [Place “Old Market”] In any case it’s calmer The world later, forget it There it is, it’s the “Julemarked”

We’re not going to get into it because in my opinion we’re going to be neck and neck In any case it’s great pretty Look there’s a passage there We’re going to go see [“Jorcks Passage”] Ah yes! It’s very beautiful ! [Rue “Magstræde”]

That way there is a small square, we’re going to go and see Oh there, look It’s magnificent! “Gråbrødretorv” square With this tree in the center there It’s very beautiful! So here I suggest we go see the university because apparently it’s magnificent inside So we’re going to see Look It’s incredible

Oh my, it’s superb! Look at these old books there Oh my, it’s fantastic And there look there is a staircase We’re going to go and look upstairs There you go! Well listen, incredible! I really advise you to come [to be continued…] [In the next vlog, the rest of the visit]

It’s superb! I love it It’s amazing There are lights everywhere It’s incredible [to be continued…] [If you liked it, don’t hesitate to subscribe to encourage me, by clicking here Or make a small donation to support me (link in description)]

★ Discover with me Christianshavn, Christiana and Indre By on copenhagen in Danemark during a Christmas weekend
