Gravel Life at 60 Eps 3 | Beautiful Bike Path in Nagano, Japan

As a 60-year-old gravel racer, I brought my gravel bike from the United States to Japan for a two-week business trip. Between work commitments and on the weekends, I explored the incredible gravel roads and mountain trails around Ueda City, Nagano Prefecture.

Ride with me along one of the most beautiful cycling routes in Japan!
In this video, I explore the cycling path that follows the Chikuma River from Ueda to Nagano City on a gravel bike. The route features breathtaking views of the river, the mountains of Nagano, and the spectacular Northern Alps in the distance.

Spring is especially magical here, as snow-covered peaks and blooming cherry blossoms come together to create a truly iconic Japanese landscape. The combination of peaceful riverside riding and stunning mountain scenery makes this one of my favorite gravel routes in Japan.
