This is a cycling record from my participation in the “Cycling Shimanami 2018” event, riding along the Nishiseto Expressway (Shimanami Kaido) in October 2018.
The entire journey takes about 30 minutes and is presented almost completely uncut. There are no text overlays or heavy edits, allowing you to fully experience the authentic atmosphere and excitement of this massive cycling event exactly as it was.
Since the original ambient and road noises were quite loud, the volume has been lowered and background music has been added. Feel free to use this video to plan your upcoming cycling trip to the Shimanami Kaido, as a virtual scenic ride for your indoor turbo trainer workouts, or simply as relaxing background video while you work or study.
