Is Vietnam as cheap as you think #vietnam #costofliving

Hi there and welcome back to my channel in this  video I’m going to Spill the Beans whether Vietnam   is truly the budget friendly country by the  end of this video you will be the judge is   Vietnam really affordable or is there more  to the story stick around till the end and

Let’s figure it out together let’s break it down  into six categories now let’s explore the first   category accommodation we’ve snagged a fantastic  two-bedroom apartment for $750 a month the perks   we’ve got free internet and free cleaning service  twice a week last month’s utilities were about

$65 when checking out the market a good one or  two-bedroom apartment ranges between 500 and $850   some of an offer minutes like gym or sming pools  deals can be different so I’m curious what kind   of apartment you can get in your country for the  same budget will it include cleaning service or

Free internet let me know in the comments transp  exportation reys bought himself a bike for $350   a practical Choice given his love for driving oh  I personally can stand this adding to that is the   petrol cost which is $1 per liter um in total  he’s paying about $10 a month this setup suits

Him well as Pally dealing with chaotic traffic  in the morning when he has to commute to work   relying on a taxi in the morning can be a little  bit tricky now if you’re considering renting a

Bag it’s roughly $60 a month keep in mind there is  an extra two-month deposit which is $120 it will   be refunded as soon as you return back the bike  monthly Patrol costs can vary depending on the   bike you choose choosing between owning or renting  a bike it truly depends on your circumstances and

Preferences share your thoughts below do you have  your preferred mode of transportation in your neck   of the woods I choose not to have one because  for a fantastic location and my genuine fear to   get into the bike accident or car accident we can  easily walk to many places like shops or shopping

Malls and the taxi is only $1 as I work from  home there is no daily commute for me saving   me a considerable amount of money plus risk can  give me a lift occasionally last month I took

61 trips around the city the cost of one trip is  around $1 so which makes it $61 a month this way   I don’t have to worry about Patrol parking where  to park my bike or simply that my bike will get

Stolen in our building we have a security guard  and the gates are locked at night so though not   all buildings are designed this way and sometimes  we’re are handing outside so we have to park the

Bike near the restaurant so not having a bike is  a perfect solution for me when it comes to food   expenses it truly depends on your eating habit my  routine usually involves grabbing a cup of coffee   and making a simple breakfast at home oatmeal  eggs or a sandwich for those who enjoy cooking

At home let’s check out Supermarket prices before  we move forward please don’t forget to hit that   like And subscribe button eggs go for $160 milk  is priced at $180 four big bananas cost $160 a

Big box of cereal is around $4 and a kit cut is  just 7 cents alcohol beverages start from4 Sands   making home potties a budget friendly option for  the best value of fruit and vegetables head to   the market sometimes local vendors and bikes come  straight from the Farms offering fresh produce I

Occasionally manage to snack some fresh fruits  there though it’s difficult to guess what time   they’re going to come if you’re curious about  prices in supermarkets or night markets let me   know in the comments now let’s talk about dining  options if you’re up for Vietnamese traditional

Food delivered to your door you’ll spend around  $2 or $3 per meal in those restaurants One Bun me   sandwich will be about1 or $2 they different types  of soups and rice dishes for three or4 personally   I’m still exploring Vietnamese food any dish  recommendations from you would be fantastic for

Those leaning towards foreign cine delivery it’s  pricer ranging from 5 to $10 but the delivery fee   is usually less than $1 I’ve observed that the  food quality is great right here and sourcing   traditional ingredients for Western dishes doesn’t  seem to be a problem back when I lived in China

They always substituted traditional ingredients  with local Chinese ingredients like using Chinese   rice for sushi not the most delightful experience  to be honest done and out at a restaurant will be   around $10 to $15 per person including service  fees and taxes higher rent Restaurants May

Cost more I’m sharing my personal experience  here and bear in mind that tips are normally   included in foreign restaurants buildt in local  places tipping is not expected though you could   possibly do that what’s the tip and culture like  in your country share in the comments below one

Thing I truly appreciate is the SIM card cost  here in Vietnam un likee Thailand where it was   really really expensive we paid only $10 here for  three months package includes unlimited internet   and call the longer you sign up the contract  for the better deal you can get living in the

UK I always missed affordable Beauty procedures  and massages in Vietnam the massage typically   costs around $14 which is not as cheap as in  Thailand but not as bad as in the UK which is   which was about 45 pounds for 40 minutes if I’m  not wrong as for beauty procedures I usually go

For brow lamination and lash extension and in  total that is only $20 nails are done for the   same price but more likely you can find a cheaper  place I just like going to this place sham at the   local hairdresser costs $10 for beauty Enthusiast  like me Vietnam Feels Like Heaven there’s a huge

Choice of procedures available and with numerous  number of salons you can find the best value for   money Sports Enthusiast Vietnam offers a diverse  rate of activities for all ages however there is   a catch while prices are already affordable gyms  don’t offer drop in classes you’re planning to

Attend gym once a week or once a month this could  be really challenging for you to find the right   gym tourists visiting Vietnam for a short period  of time like one week or two weeks probably you   will be also forced to buy membership for one  month which is Affordable but that’s a shame

That they don’t offer drop in classes to be fair  package deals are quite affordable personally my   yoga classes are $20 three times a week or  $33 unlimited package there is a nearby gym   offering unlimited classes for $18 it works 247  it’s similar to Pure gyman UK re HS for martial

Arts specifically J Jitsu he pays around $66  he has three sessions a week and I feel like   it’s a lot TI boxing comes with similar pricing  he also tried Judo Judo was $20 a month that   was a membership three times a week to sum up the  expenses mentioned are entirely flexible you can

Go Cheaper by choosing cheaper apartment eating  local food getting your own bike depending on   your circumstances living on $11,000 a month is  absolutely visible here in this video I shared   my personal experience please bear in mind that  there there will be different prices lower or

Higher share your thoughts whether Vietnam is  as affordable as you thought in the comments   if I missed something feel free to drop a comment  and I’ll cover it in the next video see you later
