Description
The curtain rises on Tour of Japan 2026, one of Asia’s premier stage races!
Stage 1 takes us to Daisen Park in Sakai City, Osaka. Riders will push their limits in this 2.6km Individual Time Trial (ITT) set against the backdrop of a breathtaking World Heritage site.
With an elevation gain of only 10m, this is a pure high-speed battle on a flat course.
Who will dominate the sprint, exceeding speeds of 50km/h, to claim the first Green Jersey?
Don’t miss the intensity as the pro peloton kicks off the tour in the historic city of Sakai!
