E-Bike Around Tokashiki Island — Okinawa Sunset Views
Tokashiki Island by e-bike — and the views after the rain were something else.
One of Okinawa’s lesser-known islands, Tokashiki sits in the Kerama archipelago about 35km west of Naha. Renting an e-bike is honestly the best way to explore it — the roads are quiet, the hills are manageable, and you get to stop whenever something catches your eye. On this ride, the rain had just cleared and the whole island felt washed clean. The colours were vivid, the air was still, and the sunset that followed was the kind you don’t expect but don’t forget.
If you’re planning a day trip or overnight from Naha, Tokashiki is worth the ferry.
