Around Komatsu Station: A Historic Town with a New Shinkansen Stop
I traveled from Kanazawa to visit Komatsu, a new stop on the Hokuriku Shinkansen line. It is a peaceful and calm town, surprisingly quiet for a Shinkansen station. The town feels historic, with old streetscapes still remaining. With few tall buildings, it’s a scenic and livable regional city. I found out later that with a car, there are many interesting spots to explore nearby.
*The mechanical sounds of my bicycle can be heard. I hope you enjoy it as part of the immersive riding experience!
