I cycled 40 kilometers alone… just for tea ☕️
I’ve been wanting to ride to Uji for a while, but I knew doing 40km solo wasn’t going to be easy. There’s something challenging about being out there on your own, but at the same time, the silence of the countryside makes every pedal stroke feel worth it 🌿
In this video, I ride from the city into the quiet, tea-scented streets of Uji. From stopping at a local konbini for fuel to trying nishin soba for the first time, this turned into one of those days that reminds me why I love cycling in Japan 🚴♀️

i think cycling is corelated with sweat and salt and all kind dirt from the road throwing at our face. i never think wearing metal on the area which often soak a lot with sweat like on the nose area is a good idea. it will corroded like the headset bearing soon
Nishin-soba, Best choice ! Haven't you visited Byoudouin Temple? One of the most beautiful temple in Japan.

Please please please wear a helmet even on a short ride. I've been hit twice during commute by reckless drivers in Tokyo and one time it actually saved my life.
