Cycling along Sword Beach / Visiting D-Day memorials / For Indoor Cycling & Treadmill / Normandy

This video takes you to the coast of Normandy, France, where the largest Allied landing operation in history took place on 6 June 1944. We cycle along Sword Beach, the landing site primarily for the British 3rd Infantry Division. We visit numerous monuments along Sword Beach, tracing the memories of the Normandy landings. “Sword Beach” was the code name used by the Allied forces to indicate the landing area.
The video features a beautiful coastline and the soothing sound of waves, making it hard to believe that fierce fighting once took place there. Watching while cycling on an indoor exercise bike is one way to enjoy this video. Since the cycling is slow, it’s also suitable for watching while running on a treadmill.
I hope this video will be helpful for both learning history and maintaining your health.
