I took a leisurely trip through Hanamaki City, Iwate, by bicycle and on foot00:57! Starting from Shin-Hanamaki Station and heading toward Hanamaki Station, this route was full of highlights.
I was blown away by the exhibits dedicated to Major League stars Shohei Ohtani and Yusei Kikuchi, both alumni of Hanamaki Higashi High School. I also had the chance to immerse myself in the whimsical world of the Miyazawa Kenji Fairytale Village. The “Future City Galactic Railroad” mural, which glows beautifully at night, is an absolute must-see.
