Here’s how I rented a bike and cycled around the lake with breathtaking Mt. Fuji views all the way to Oshino Hakkai. One of the most memorable days from my Japan trip on March 2025 🇯🇵
Oshino Hakkai is a scenic tourist attraction in Oshino, Japan, famous for its eight crystal-clear ponds fed by Mt. Fuji’s snowmelt, offering stunning views of the mountain, traditional thatched-roof buildings, and water wheels.
– 8.35am Lake kawaguchiko
– 9.15am 🚴🏻♀️ Bike rental
– 📸 Lake Yamanaka – Ohashi Bridge
– 10.30am 📸 Oishi Park – buy souvenirs + soft serve ice cream
– 11.53am Mont Blanc restaurant with view of Mt Fuji – as seen at Hot Spot movie on NetFlix
– 12.08pm 📸 Honcho street
– 13.33pm 📸 Oshino Hakkai
– 15.09pm returning bike; total ride = 36km
– 15.14pm 🍲 Hotto Fudo for early dinner
– 21.15pm 📸 Shibuya Crossing ✅
