Back in 2018, I spent 4 weeks in Australia. Melbourne is a fantastic city : a must-see and visit!
In my opinion Melbourne is so much better than Sydney!

God , I really miss living in Melbourne. Best city in the world!!! Miss those stupid, noisy green parrots or what ever they are… miss the coffee, best in the World! Miss the food, right up there at Japan (God) level… miss the people, friendly, stupid and stoned…. (if you've lived in Melbourne, you'll know that's not an insult).
You found a lot of nice places, but to be honest there's so many nice places that you could go 5 years without going to the same place twice, and experience excellent food, coffee, art… every day!
Hot air ballooning wasn’t on my list…but it is now! It looks fabulous and the Yarra Valley is the perfect place to do it. Or the Barossa Valley which is an hour from my home.There’s so much to see and do in Melbourne. It’s my favourite Australian city.
