023 (紀伊)全国唯一の飛び地の村北山村 上瀞橋
紀伊半島にある、バイクで渡れる吊り橋で有名なところです。橋も有名ですが、北山村は都道府県単位の唯一の飛地で、和歌山県なのに、奈良県と三重県の間にあり、他の和歌山県の土地とは隣接していない地理的にも面白い場所ですので、一度行ってみてください。
This place on the Kii Peninsula is famous for its suspension bridge that you can cross by motorcycle. While the bridge itself is well-known, Kitayama Village is also geographically interesting as the only prefectural exclave—located between Nara and Mie prefectures despite being part of Wakayama Prefecture, and not adjacent to any other Wakayama territory. It’s definitely worth a visit.
