Alone in the Wild Drakensberg 🇿🇦 vA28-S2
I ride from Barkly East to a very remote farm, on my way to Lesotho, through one of most remote parts of South Africa, in Drakensberg (Eastern Cape).
Another glorious day in the mountains, on the wonderful South African gravel roads.
I arrive in a very odd king of mountain shelter, where no one is here to welcome me, yet a big house is ready for me. I look around and I find some relaxed workers living in a strange empty paradise.

South Africa has a bouyant Real Estate Property Market, FARMS are bought & sold all the time, if the next generation does not want to FARM they usually SELL the FARM. I hear Lesotho is called "Kingdom in the Sky" as it is the highest country globally. Can guess the long climb from that.
