Beppu Japan travel in 3 days!🇯🇵
3-day, 2-night trip to Oita First time in Oita! Excited! Let’s eat before takeoff! Myakumyaku collaboration plane★ We arrived in no time, just an hour and a half from Haneda Airport. Let’s take the bus to Beppu. A spacious and clean bus. The view while traveling is soothing. Is that Beppu Bay? A peaceful view The weather was perfect! ☀︎ As soon as I got off the train, I could see the TV tower. Heading to check into my hotel in Beppu. Nostalgic buildings dotted around. This is the hotel where I’ll be staying. I arrived earlier than check-in time, so I waited at the lobby cafe. Iced coffee and affogato♡ I quenched my hunger with an ice cream. The time came, so I headed to my room. A very simple room. I had dinner reservations at a restaurant near Oita Station, so I headed there by train. It’s been a while since I’ve seen a freight train. It took about 10 minutes to get from Beppu to Oita Station. In front of Oita Station. A typical shopping arcade in a regional city. My first meal in Oita was sushi. I enjoyed a variety of dishes. Very satisfied⭐︎ There was a wide variety of dishes. I’ll post what I ate later →→→ It was fun trying so many different dishes! Thank you for the meal! I’m heading back to Beppu. The train is so retro and cute. I’m back! On my way to the second stop. A popular local counter-style gyoza restaurant. There are lots of gyoza restaurants in Beppu! Waiting in a small chair until a seat becomes available! They look so happy. Even though I’m full from sushi. The gyoza looked so delicious, I couldn’t resist…!! ♡ Everything was delicious. I’m so full. Everything was delicious. I’m so full! Thank you to the cute college student drinking next to me! Day two: sightseeing in Beppu. I don’t plan on visiting the famous hells. First up: lunch! A Northern Indian curry restaurant. A popular restaurant that’s been selected as one of Tabelog’s top 100 restaurants. The food was authentic and everything was delicious! A charming alleyway The shopping district was quiet at lunchtime. There were also a few craft shops. I decided to rent a bicycle for today’s sightseeing. ☺︎ I was able to rent a bicycle here! I couldn’t find many bicycle rental shops in Beppu. Thank goodness for an electric bicycle★ Smooth ride! Hot spring steam is everywhere. I’ve been curious about the steam bath, so I went. You lie down on medicinal herbs and get steamed. First time! Off I go! I lay on the iris and started to sweat, then finally took a bath. So refreshing! I’ll steam my feet outside, too! It looks hot already…! I opened the lid, put my feet in, and closed the lid. It’s super hot… So warm, it’s almost hot! Continuing my stroll! Discovered a pottery gallery. Nice to see you! A lovely gallery space. I climbed the hill and arrived at a vantage point. The steam on the right is incredible! The hot springs are bubbling away. This might be the first time I’ve ever felt so much steam coming from the middle of town! WOW~~~ When it comes to sightseeing in Beppu, the first thing that comes to mind is visiting the hells. We got there late, so most of the parks were closed. Lol Since we were in the area, we decided to check it out. Everywhere closes at 5 PM. Maybe I’ll get revenge someday…lol To a park by the sea I’m envious of the idea of having a seaside town. It’s April. The azaleas are beautiful ♡ The TV tower is surely a landmark. A retro shopping street under the elevated railway. Several shops lined the street. Who are you…? There’s a hand bath you can enjoy casually in front of Beppu Station. I came here for a beer before dinner. A craft beer specialty shop with an attached brewery. The shop is packed with foreign tourists! They also offer a Beppu tasting set!! A wide variety of bottles available. The original T-shirt is cute! ⭐︎ The hot spring in front of the station is stylish and nice. For dinner tonight, we’re going to a Chinese restaurant recommended by a customer. Restarting in Qingdao! They wrap it after you order. On to our third stop. A charming restaurant. We came here to try the local specialty, Seki mackerel. We were already full, but we were debating whether to order turban shells. In the end, we ordered some. LOL I was looking forward to the Seki mackerel. It was fatty and delicious! The restaurant even had a fish tank. Beppu is so quiet at night. ☺︎ Finally, we went to a cafe bar. A relaxing atmosphere. Irish coffee ♡ Unexpectedly, it was time for a performance…! It was a fun night! My last meal in Beppu was at a cold noodle restaurant. It was busy at lunchtime. My first time eating Beppu cold noodles. It was light and delicious. Taking the bus from Beppu to the airport. It was my first time in Oita, and the food and hot springs were great.♡ I’d love to come back and enjoy a relaxing time.★
