SARDEGNA del Sarrabus: calette da sogno, Costa Rei, Villasimius, Agriglamping e miniere abbandonate

Madonna, I like the seas, I feel like I’m in the Caribbean!
Better than the Caribbean. It’s Sardinia, Sardinia, Icnusa! But you’re talking about beer! you only have beer on your mind! Until proven otherwise, we are in Italy. wow In this video we will explore the fascinating
Sarrabus in south-eastern Sardinia. We will show you its coasts
from the wild, little frequented ones, where nature
incredibly still wild predominates Hi Tarta! Where are you going? Why here?
they run you over. This is not a good thing! To the more famous ones, rich in services and tourist amenities, such as the Costa Rei area with its fascinating history. To get to Villasimius, it is no coincidence
also known as The Pearl of the South. Caribbean! Furthermore… we didn’t miss out
the opportunity to visit the mining village of
Monte Narba an intriguing one today ghost town that preserves
traces of a glorious past still capable of arousing strong emotions. But it will be the genuine naturalistic aspect to prevail and conquer us thanks to the hospitality and the atmosphere dell’ Agriglamping
Eco-Life where we stayed to be able to tell you
this beautiful part of Sardinia. This is the Sarrabus,
in the south-east of Sardinia, true and wild land
where the sea meets forests and mountains, between white beaches, coves
hidden, lagoons full of flamingos. and villages rich in history. I would say it’s the perfect place to live
the most authentic Sardinia. And from here we can also reach many
locations among the most well-known. Stay with us! Tango is already very happy, right?
Tanghino? Guys, there is a temperature here that is
incredible. It’s autumn. Today is the first day of autumn,
it’s about 22-23 degrees. There are still people on the beaches. An incredible thing is happening from God. I always say come to Sardinia in autumn
It’s beautiful, especially at the end of September, behind my back
there is a beautiful cove. Cala Sa Figu, look how beautiful it is,
surrounded by all granite rocks with a very blue sea. It is also called the Bay of Amphorae, Because on the beach
you still found some remains of an amphora that came from ships, or rather from a cargo of a Roman ship
in Roman times which had been shipwrecked. And next to it, immediately on the right,
there is another beach that is bigger and it’s probably the same Cala
it’s part of the same… How beautiful this one is too fantastic. Here too it is divided into practically
in almost two coves. The little beaches are beautiful,
look how wonderful! Then here there is a path that goes up
and here on the top of the opposite side there is a lighthouse, so we take a walk
about 40 minutes and you get to see the lighthouse
and the panoramic area. It’s hard not to stop here for a swim. No, actually. Look at what granite creates. This beach is a masterpiece,
It’s beautiful, it’s the first one we’ve seen. It’s hard to think of finding more beautiful ones!
and then we have it right under our house… Fantastic! a stone’s throw from home and in a little while
we’ll show you what a little place it is we found somewhere to stay here
in Sardinia. What a sea, Andri, eh? We are already on the coast Peppino’s Rock! Paid parking.
but from 1 to 2.30 you don’t pay, a little rough, Susa!
A little? Definitely choppy! Look at this stuff, it’s windy today! This is the wonderful Costa Rei always
in Sarrabus, a very well-known location. There’s a beautiful sea here guys
which is very blue with a white beach. We have about
eight to ten kilometers of beach and now we
we head towards Peppino’s rock It’s amazing that he grew up there. How beautiful! Uhh, how wonderful! no, what a show! There he is! Look how beautiful Andry is! You can get there.
even swimming, or even walking. I do not know. Is there a beautiful viewpoint here? Spectacular! But we still have to walk to get there. Yes. How wonderful! Andri Stormy sea, but beautiful huh? Let’s go down and see! And! My hat is flying! Beautiful Andri. Here is Peppino’s Rock. Look How wonderful is this giant granite
It looks a bit like a large whale, doesn’t it? It divides two beaches
which is the beach of Santa Giusta from Ginestre Beach. We are between the municipalities of Muravera and Castiadas
and this is truly a spectacle. And it fixes it a little bit, so there it is more
Don’t worry, you can swim without any worries. By the way, there is a little legend
on this rock: It is said in fact it’s a love legend, that Peppino
and Letizia practically one evening together they disappeared towards this rock
and they never saw each other again And it is said that
now, on full moon nights, you can hear their songs coming from the sea
carried by the wind. And here come many
still in love today and swearing to each other. Eternal love. A bit of a classic.
no? there’s a bit of a classic it’s nice when they are special places,
There’s always some legend, right? and it’s worth it anyway!
because it’s really beautiful here! Hi Peppino! King Coast a curiosity about the name:
The most accredited theory is that which this name
derives from a penal colony who was present here
towards the end of the nineteenth century 800, so Rei. this was the most accredited one
yes but then there were those who talked about Cala rei like Cala del Re
because there is Cala Regina further south… ok but I would say that maybe the first one was
more truthful, yes! there is… there is. And here friends we are at the end of Costa Rei we are at a point where the beach
she’s already a little more tame. We find the umbrellas, a little bar
you can already smell the frying Here’s the little beach, guys. We’ll show it to you like this. Free beach, umbrellas at the end… this little place at the beginning, but dogs are not allowed in,
so we go back. Let’s have a little drink,
let’s see an overview from above, but we don’t go in. Monte Turno Cove from that mountain over there! that mountain
which must be of volcanic origin. And to dive in completely in this environment
so pristine as a base we chose a location
really special. L’ Agriglamping. Eco Vita Experience,
an innovative agriculture project and sustainable tourism which is based precisely
on respect for nature and the valorization
of the person who has as a goal that of creating a very strong bond
between man and nature. And we really like that! We have plum jam
exceptional red figs. And this one is peaches. all homemade. A nice 8000 euro coffee.
Look how beautiful! Fresh butter and lots of fresh fruit! Among the activities of Eco Vita we have permaculture, green building… do you see the straw and earth plaster? And. Sustainable management of resources,
self-production, also the valorization of the cuisine
typical and traditional. And not only that. We also have the offer of
experiential packages. If we come here
and we have various experiences in the area under the guidance
of the owners of the house who are Lorna and Luca, we are in a beautiful area,
near San Vito which is still an area little anthropized than Sarrabus. Today we do the convivial pizza under the stars. There are no stars today! But there’s music! But there’s music! Come that we show you
where we are staying… It’s a treat guys! A beautiful cotton curtain
yurt style, twenty 25 square meters. This one for us
it’s the first experience ever and now, besides being beautiful on the outside
we’ll show you inside. Look at this show she’s beautiful, she’s also very tall. it’s really big,
we have a nice double bed, then we have two beds
the floor is wooden like the bed after all… The sheets
They are organic cotton and under the bed. We also always have towels
in pure organic cotton. The bathrooms are outside and each tent has its own bathroom Bathroom with personalized “Mirto” writing. Wow Andri… So guys, this room here
It is for the exclusive use of our tent. We practically have at our disposal
a giant bathroom. two sinks, we have a huge shower
and then okay, bidè and water it’s the changing room corner
I would say it is very well structured. Spectacular! We’ll be comfortable here! Like princes! Here we have a room with a veranda, guys, Here we cook, eat, socialize. This is an area we have in common
with the other guests. There is a small kitchen with gas,
stove and oven. We have our own fridge,
there is everyone’s fridge, but everyone there is a dedicated space. Then we have space for “Myrtle”. And besides that, Lorna and Luca in the morning they let us all find each other breakfast products,
bread, honey, jams. Then there is an area where we have dishes
and pots that are available for everyone and Mirto. There’s our tent. Then he has his plates and his glasses… And after the Colustrai lagoon
Luca, what do you show us? Let’s go to Corregani beach. Corregani, that is, where the dogs run… In fact, my dogs run! sense of peace, just peace and freedom? We tried to do a little bit
of the sea for us and how did it end? Storm!
probably the first of the summer… Susa! Of course we were relaxing… It hadn’t rained in Sardinia since May. But here we come. A spectacle. It’s not a rain that passes in 1 hour. No! Look at the happy cows
under the water! At least they have some water, poor things! beards, beautiful, it’s good for them, eh! To these guys on bicycles
it does him less good though… We stopped because you look
what’s crossing the road? Come and see. Where are you going now? We put it aside. Yes, it’s dangerous on the road! You know, beautiful? Love… shall we put it up here, or where? I don’t know where she wanted to go!? Now we’ll take you to safety though, because
I don’t like it that much on the road. I don’t like it at all. Come on, take it. We help her get somewhere I would take it further that this piece passes along the road. hello turtle! Party Mission accomplished. Turtle rescued from the street. Is everything dry here? Yeah, a river had to pass… here too. Guys, we’ve arrived at this place here, now you will see
what a postcard we show you. We found two boys who have a sheepfold that we just
past, who knows whose sheepfold this is come here and ta dan! Hi Claudio, nice to meet you Enrico.
They told us a little of the area here, of how people live
and how to keep a sheepfold. It’s a nice challenge. Yes it’s beautiful and then
I recommend visiting it because it really is and what awaits us here guys?
a ghost town awaits us, because there were mines here, no spoilers! in the meantime he gave us, look how beautiful,
The pomegranate! It’s the best you’ll eat in your life! Oh I believe it! the flavor of San Vito Guys, we’re in the woods here.
and the mountains of San Vito and exactly now let’s go see a ghost town
for Andri’s happiness, right? I am very happy to see these places
too old For me it’s an emotion. Look… what an adventure to get here, Susa! Yes, just to get here
It was truly an experience. Oh God look at this stuff! Look, it had a rounded corner.
How beautiful! Here we are
in the mining village of Mount Narva. Why do you have to think that
for some decades there has been an intense silver mining activity
right between the 19th and 20th centuries. And right here,
where we are now there was a small town which was completely autonomous,
he had the hospital, he had the workshop there was a food mechanics at Villa Madama
that we’re going to see later the director’s house all the little houses
then some workers I hope the video makes sense,
but I assure you that being here the feeling is stratospheric. If you come to these parts it is a site
that you absolutely must see. It was gigantic! It was gigantic!
why do you have to think that this was the silver mine
richest and most productive in Italy and he gave so much
I work throughout Sarrabus. Wow! This is the director’s house. Here were
also the administrative offices of the mine. It’s all coming down here! It’s frescoed… Incredible… How beautiful! and I’m not convinced that it’s full underneath
because there I see that it’s really dirty Be careful, look
it goes down there! So it might go down. It sounds a bit hollow, so I wouldn’t go any further… No! There was the fireplace there. But look at these beautiful walls… The floor rings hollowly.
It rings hollow. There’s probably another floor underneath,
in fact it’s raised, see? Be careful!
I’m careful yes, I just wanted to look out here hate! everything came down. I’m going out because I don’t feel safe. I walk on soft feet precisely because and here it comes down in a moment
to the other… it rings hollow. And in this case never go in the center of the room,
always walk next to the wall. See here? no, but here it was completely buried. But there was a window that came out there’s another plan Andri… A landslide has come down here. Ah, that was all a lot. In fact, do you see those arches too? Now yes, you understand. We were on the second floor. Susa, between Campo. This one, in short,
I’ll show you some Ghost Town, right? It seems so to me. Mmm, the smell of figs here! Mom, smell it good. To think that this was an incredible
silver mine that was active right at the beginning of the twentieth century and in the village boys who were just
as I repeat completely autonomous. There was also the telephone the electricity that for the time
in short, it was a great wealth! really. This looks like a giant scale and this is the counterweight, did they close it because they sold out? It was no longer there… At the mine
It has been active for several decades and then there was the mining crisis
throughout Sardinia and this, let’s say this village it became a small farm,
but for a short time they immediately let her go and from there
nature has done the rest today. Because if the whole recovery,
he’s taking it all back, and anyway throughout the South of Sardinia
there are so many of these villages, just as a testimony
that in those decades there was an intense mining activity throughout the island and today
they are practically industrial archaeology. Sure, oh my god But how big was it? It was gigantic! But it’s very high, three floors
but four meters each. Look how tall she was, just look
that frame there, that shutter How tall is she? Just to give you an idea.
There must have been a whole outside terrace, see? which has now collapsed… But here there was a whole balcony, walkable, because that is a French window. See? It’s huge, it’s very tall. Look at those taxes up there too
I’m two meters tall, right? they are not regular
like the ones they build today… No no Absolutely. look with what stones
was it built? Ferrous stones Here, however, everything falls apart. Yes, here if you come in
It’s Russian roulette, yes, you practically play with life. Oh look, there was an open balcony,
that was a terrace raised all open
See, is the gate still there? Yes, I see. So here they had a view of the landscape, or it looked directly onto the garden. Oh my goodness, what a show, Watch out!
where he puts his feet. look there’s a well. You know, right? I like Urbex… I am so fascinated by these places. And in fact, Andri, I chose you.
to come here. Thanks, Susa! Huh? You gave me a gift! As far as I know, with Ghost Towns it’s not
that I have a big as they say… They make me a little sad! but I know that Andri is happy,
so we came. But you know… it’s sad but it’s not sad it’s that fact of seeing, the charm
of nature recovering its spaces…
and brings us back to thinking that we we are not fundamentally that important
as we believe we are. Nature is ever stronger. This thing on one hand is for me
it gives me peace, it tells me good, You are right!
In a dystopian future… Netflix did you see how it’s written? about movies?
In a dystopian future… Or, flashing lights,
I’ve never seen what… No, it’s really post-apocalyptic here. There, you said the right word now post-apocalyptic. This is the boys’ sheepfold. We wanted to say hello to them,
but they’ve already left. In reality the boys hadn’t left, but they had gone shopping
to offer us lunch! only that we did
faster than expected and so we left early Then later we learned this thing… because we had exchanged numbers
and we massaged each other. Thanks to the guys for the incredible thought
and the hospitality that once again you have confirmed to be a great asset
of the people of Sardinia. Thanks guys and next time
we will not miss the invitation. This is… Susa and the donkeys! Oh that’s enough Andri, I’m not leaving anymore
I found my kingdom. Ok, I asked at the bar
the story is very interesting. Virtually all of them
these structures belong to the municipality and people lived here
who have reclaimed this area. This area here too
it had a complete cleanup. More or less the same story as Costa Rei
and then after they built the new houses so all the owners all people
who were in this village here they moved to San Vito
New or in the little houses back here. Has this area been reclaimed?
Yes, it has all been cleaned up and these structures now
They have been uninhabited for about ten years. It would seem even more to see them and it has nothing to do with prisoners
here? the story is similar because he said that the prisoners anyway
they worked across a wide range not only there, they went elsewhere too
so probably here too and those who live there
now they are the descendants of those who then after they inherited the house
until they expropriated it in the sense
which was in any case the property of the Municipality so somehow national
of the institutions and they can’t even sell them and at the moment they knew that would have been transferred
in new houses they didn’t even invest
to restore him and therefore they seem abandoned
It’s been so long And the situation that has been created
it’s from another ghost town within an area
who instead would like to live, right? In fact, he said let’s hope that funds arrive to restore them. The idea was to make a hotel out of it
widespread managed by young people and thus give new life to
this thing here… very cute! and think… it’s incredible
to think that this whole area lives thanks to some prisoners who came here
on the island to reclaim it because before there were only swamps and we got sick with malaria… yes yes, old stories This is Punta Molentis and here as you can see unfortunately
a great fire devastated everything. Yooo But where am I taking you! What a beach, right? Beautiful, It looks like autumn to see
this red one is burnt instead. What a sea guys! I feel like diving right in. cliff area in the back part sea, a little bigger, a little blacker
because it is more open, while this bay over here is protected
creates calm blue pools. The only flaw at this point is the fire. Sin. You can still smell the burning
It must have been something from a short while ago. Yes, we had guessed right at the end of July. The fire is therefore very recent,
but I had heard about it on TV. this is the show of Punta Molenis that despite the fire
which has caused quite a bit of havoc around here at the end July, it’s always beautiful,
it’s truly an oasis of crystalline waters. Let me tell you a fun fact! Molentis
they were the donkeys that carried the granite blocks that were quarried
from the quarries that were nearby. We would love to stay here
and take a bath, but we can’t because we are with Tango. Unfortunately on many beaches in Villasimius there’s this mole that we can’t stay on the beach with our dogs, there is a beach just for that,
and you have to go to this one. Let’s hope that little by little
the laws change because it would be now that our four-legged friends
they really followed us everywhere. We anyway
we stop at all the coves to make small postcards
and goodbye to you. here we are in Porto Giunco which is an area
very particular of Villasimius, in fact we have a beautiful sea and then
even a particular brackish pond. And look how beautiful it is over there! There is a 16th century Spanish turret which dominates the landscape,
a beautiful Mediterranean scrub. And here, guys,
we can also do some nice trekking. We missed trekking! We have to
always go up somewhere Andri! Oh, let’s hope so! I don’t know if we can get to the Turret from this one. We have to get to that turret
that’s there… I wear slippers and shorts…
these are incredibly puncturing. look at this stuff! Go, it opens here! Look, today it is precisely the most protected area. this Andri, while you see the waves over there? Here, the beaches are chosen based on the wind. Watch out, it’s going down here! There’s a sheer rock here! And just 40 minutes from Agriglamping Eco Vita we have reached what is considered
the pearl of southern Sardinia. Villasimius with heavenly beaches. A truly incredible nature
because we are inside the area Protected Marine Area of Capo Carbonara,
which is an important area. In fact it deals with to protect biodiversity
and to keep the seabed intact. Here guys, if you’re lucky
go out to sea, you can catch dolphins. Even the sea turtle. The protected area extends for approximately 34 kilometers of coast,
starting from the west from Capo Boi to the eastern part,
at the promontory of Punta Porceddus it is a very rich area because here
we have a lot of marine fauna, we have underground caves
right under the water, beautiful to see. There is a lot of Poseidonia that we have understood by now
which is the lungs of our seas and also the Mediterranean scrub
she’s beautiful. There are many trekking options available
and these 16th century Spanish turrets I would say they go very well together
with the whole environment. We are on the other side of Capo Carbonara and here too
There are some beautiful beaches. Now we are on the beach of Campolongu, which reminds us
a bit of Andri Campolongo from Asiago. It feels like home. This is a really beautiful beach and it’s very long, in fact,
but really big. And it is one of the typical sandy beaches
white that I am here in Villasimius. And obviously Tango can’t enter here
and we only came here to show it to you. friends. We have reached the end of this video. We hope this postcard from
Sarrabus – Costa Rei – Villasimius It will be useful for your programming
your next vacation. It was an incredible experience
that of Eco-Vita and I thank you very much both Luca and Lorna
because they made us feel truly at home
opening the doors for us. Thank you so much guys. Unforgettable memories
they are really in the heart guys But wait there, because
Before you leave, we’ll tell you the prices. The yurt at Eco Vita, if you book directly
It costs €120 per day for a couple. If you are four in a group, a family costs €200 per day,
always if you book directly. Anyway, call, find out,
because if you watch this video, as I always say, after so many months
maybe the prices are updated. There may be some promotions
in progress so always call. In fact, book directly. The pizza party,
a fantastic experience that I believe so, you only experience it in a place like that. We will remember it!
It costs €25 per person including desserts and drinks. and pizza made with really good wheat
and enjoy it. Great Hair and then all-you-can-eat pizza. Guys, you can eat as many as you want, But you can
even living a family experience, why Luca and Lorna can host you
so you know them, Luca could tell you an infinite number of things,
especially on the Nuragic civilization. In fact, it also does this by taking you around
to look and discover the paths. But if you want to have dinner with them
for a family it costs €20, practically a contribution to expenses
to be all together. Then after
They also provide catering service. In short, many things. Whatever you call them, say hello to them and we will
See you on the next adventure! Please always follow us on the channel,
sign up and write, write lots of comments
which we always like to see. Bye guys, see you next time!

  1. La Sardegna del sud è fantastica, noi siamo stati nella parte sud ovest e devo dire che ritornerei ad occhi chiusi. Mare stupendo, cibo accoglienza tutto ottimo.

  2. Ciao carissimi vi ho molto invidiato con queste meravigliose immagini Grazie per farci vedere sempre posti nuovi I sardi sempre molto ospitali speriamo che questi giovani ridiano vita a questi ruderi… sarebbe molto bello! Grazie, grazie ancora e un abbraccio fortissimo a tutti e tre 👫🦮👋
