Day2 Amagigoe course1 天城越えコース

From Sept.24~26th, 2025, I did cycling trips in Izu peninsula.This time I chose a course called”Amagigoe course”. I enjoyed so much and wish i could come back again soon.

My road bike is Trek domane! I did cycling for 4years now. I’m a Japanese man.

I went cycling in Izu peninsula, Shizuoka pref. in 24-26/9/2025. this place was known for cyclist’s popular places since there are endless ups and downs and wonderful natural landscapes and delicious foods.

This was my very first time travelling to Izu peninsula. Tofu, I’ve never been to this place. You must visit here because Jackson magnificent sceneries sport all over the place. When I recycling I encourage contrast Photos spots so I cannot help taking videos and pictures so many times. Hahaha

On the day 1, I departed from the east side of the Izu (Ito city) to a city near Shuzenji temple.

On the day 2, from Shuzenji temple to Minami-Izu(Southern part of Izu peninsula).
The course I took was named “Amagi-goe ”course and there is a nationwide famous Enka singer”Sayuri Ishikawa” named her song “Amagi-goe”. It was named after this place.

This video started from Amagigoe roadside station due to my drive recorder memory loss Lol. It includes Nanadaru Loop Bridge, Kawazu city, Shimoda, city, Shirahama beach etc.

On day 3, from Minami-Izu to Shimoda to home.It includes the Irozaki lighthouse, which is famous for wonderful ocean views and geo ramen!
Shimoda city is famous for one of the first cities opened up to the Western countries for trading by American Navy Commador Mattew. C. Perry.
