🚶♂️ 三島で暑い夏の日に電動自転車をレンタル – Walking in Japan
Now, to use the bicycle, we’d need to uh have a count set up on the phone, which maybe they already do. Let’s see. Okay, we got our accounts all set up on the apps. We downloaded the app. We all got set up. And now we’re going to unlock our bikes and go. Let’s do this. Are there doing it over there? Making some good progress. Having fun riding riding all through Fuji.
🚶 Miko, Yoko, and I missed the bus in Mishima, so we hopped on a pair of rented e-bikes to make our way across town on a hot summer afternoon. The ride was easy and fun, the bikes gliding us through narrow streets and shaded lanes, giving us a different view of the city than we might have seen on foot or from a bus window.
E-bikes have become a common way to get around in many Japanese towns and cities, offering a balance of convenience and accessibility in places where public transit doesn’t always line up with your plans. On a summer day in Mishima, with Mount Fuji looming in the distance and cool streams running nearby, even a simple ride across town carries its own charm.
