【富山】脚の削り合い再び｜ジロデ氷見2025｜ゴールはご褒美のお寿司
Morning, everyone This is Sushi Pedal This time, it’s a video from Giro d’ Himi – a cycling event held in Himi City, Toyama I’d be happy if you could watch till the end Let’s fully enjoy the town of Himi and make it back here safely Let me introduce the 2 riders who’ll be joining me in Group 1 Mr Oku who competed in the Champion Class at the Norikura Hill Climb He’s an incredibly fast rider who also joined as a guest last year and 2nd rider is Mr Tokai from Roman, a cycling team based in Toyama Now, let me introduce today’s course In the first half, there are 2 small climbs and 1 big climb One of the small climb, Nagasaka is short but extremely steep with an average gradient of 8.8% After riding along the Toyama Bay coast, the route enters a gentle mountain slope the route climb up to 482m (Mt. Sekido) After the descent, we stop for lunch then, the second half becomes a technical section full of ups and downs guaranteed to destroy my our already tired legs The route briefly cross into Ishikawa before returning to Himi The finish line is at “Miharashi no Oka” which offers a panoramic view of the town of Himi Heading north on R160, we aim for the 1st Climb Point – Hitohane I know I can’t keep up this pace until the end, but it’s not every day I get to ride with such fast riders So, I’ll push myself to the limit today What? Did we take the wrong way? What happened? He dropped the rear light It looks like the three of them are riding at around L2 intensity For me, it feels like I’m barely hanging on around L4 intensity 60-70% of HR max, a pace where you can still hold a conversation 80-90% of HR max, you can only say a word or two Let’s wait at the bottom He’s got wings on his back!! On another level I didn’t realize there was a photographer on the hill during the ride If I’d realized, I would’ve tried to look a bit more relaxed in the photo Are you sure? He said we can go fill gas now!!! Brake brake The bayside felt so good that we got carried away and rode right past the aid station I kept yelling Wait Wait but you guys just wouldn’t stop Let’s rotate Brake! Hole! That was close! Sorry for the gap When the rider in front can’t hold the wheel and a gap forms Car up! Car up! Car up! Watch the bump! I got some salt from Awaji Island They’re gradually pulling away Too fast! He’s flying again! Fast! No, this isn’t fast – forward he’s just that fast Car back! All out right before the climb I got dropped Let’s go!
