🇯🇵 丁坂峠を自転車で 国道476号 福井市〜大野市 | Cycling Yōrōzaka Pass Route 476 Fukui to Ono City | Aug 2025 [4K]
This video follows a summer cycling route along National Route 476, from Kamiajimi in Fukui’s Miyama area to Ono City, crossing the quiet Yōrōzaka Pass.
The road is relatively calm, though some cars and motorbikes from outside the prefecture do pass through. In winter, this section is closed due to heavy snow and cannot be traveled. Along the way, you will find the famous spring Koshouzu no Mizu, and the route also includes two tunnels: Minaminozuma Tunnel and Yōrōzaka Tunnel.
Koshouzu Spring
Located along Route 476 near Minamino-Tsumata (Miyama / Kamiajimi side), Koshouzu is a natural spring known for its fresh water, around 11°C even in summer. Historically, it refreshed travelers crossing the mountains, and today locals have installed a pipe to make it easy to draw water. About 50 meters downstream lies Koshouzu Falls, surrounded by moss and wild plants, with salamanders living in the clear stream.
Yōrōzaka Pass (丁坂)
Yōrōzaka is one of the passes on Route 476, connecting the Minamino-Tsumata side of Fukui City with the Ono area. The pass is around 470 m in elevation, with tunnels and steep gradients. Due to heavy snow, this section is closed during winter months, so riders should plan accordingly.
福井県美山町上味見から大野市へ、国道476号を自転車で走行した記録です。ルートは静かな丁坂峠を越える区間で、冬は豪雪のため通行止めになります。途中には名水「こしょうずの湧水」が湧き、また南野津又隧道と丁坂トンネルの2つのトンネルを通過します。
国道476号を自転車で走り、美山町上味見地区から大野市へと向かいます。福井らしい山間の風景、静かな集落、川沿いの道を進みながら、峠を越えて大野盆地へ下っていく道程を記録しています。
こしょうずの湧水（こしょうずのゆうすい）
国道476号の南野津又（美山・上味見側）沿いにある湧水スポットです。夏でもおよそ11℃前後の冷たい湧き水が出ており、昔から峠越えの旅人や地元住民の喉を潤してきました。地元の方によってパイプが設置され、今でも水を汲むことができます。湧水のすぐ下流には「こしょうずの滝」もあり、周囲は苔や山野草が豊かで、サンショウウオなども生息する清らかな環境です。
丁坂（読み：ようろうざか / Yōrōzaka）
丁坂は、国道476号が越える峠の一つで、福井市南野津又側と大野市方面を結んでいます。標高はおよそ470m前後とされ、峠越えの区間にはトンネルや急勾配があります。冬期は豪雪のため通行止めとなるので注意が必要です。
