【栃木_那須】予約が取れない人気宿「THE KEY HIGHLAND NASU」を徹底紹介!オールインクルーシブのレベルが高すぎて感動レベルだった

This time, I’d like to introduce “THE KEY HIGHLAND NASU,” an all-inclusive resort hotel nestled in the forests of Nasu Highlands in Tochigi Prefecture. “THE KEY HIGHLAND NASU” is popular and difficult to book, but I finally managed to stay there, so I’d like to share my experience. I hope it will be helpful when choosing a hotel. “THE KEY HIGHLAND NASU” is about a 2.5 hour drive from the city center and about a 40 minute drive from the nearest Nasu-Shiobara Station. A free shuttle bus (reservation required) operates from Nasu-Shiobara Station. Now, let’s check in. The beautiful lobby, with its eye-catching stained-glass windows, is like a museum. The concept of this hotel is a “forest activity resort.” In the natural surroundings of Nasu Highlands, you can enjoy food, drinks, heated pools, hot springs, and more, all inclusively. “All-inclusive” means that the price of your stay includes almost all the costs of meals, drinks, and on-site activities. At “THE KEY HIGHLAND NASU,” you can freely use the lounge from check-in at 3 p.m. You can enjoy a wide variety of self-service drinks as much as you like. By the way, you can take drinks back to your room . At “KEY HIGHLAND NASU”, you can enjoy various services depending on the time of day. After enjoying a drink in the lounge, I headed to my room for the day. My room this time was a Western-style twin room. It was simple and very clean. The only amenities in the room were a toothbrush, hairbrush, and body towel. Other amenities were available near the front desk. There was also a haori to wear over the hotel’s indoor clothing. The twin room did not have a bathroom, only a shower. After looking around for a room, I headed to the spa, which I was most looking forward to. By the way, there are two types of baths at “THE KEY HIGHLAND NASU”. 1. Forest Spa, where you can experience the feeling of forest bathing. 2. There is a hot spring bath adjacent to the indoor pool. The Forest Spa is a gender-switching system. Women are allowed in the spa until night. Men are allowed in the morning. Finally, the long-awaited dinner time begins . The official opening starts at 6pm with a pre-opening. Appetizers start to appear little by little from 5:30pm, so you can relax and wait for the food to arrive while sipping your drinks. In addition to dishes that go well with alcohol, there are also hearty rice and noodle dishes, so the variety is quite extensive and everything is delicious. By the way, there is a late-night snack time from 9:30pm and they also offer ochazuke (rice with tea) service, but my stomach is already at its limit… Good morning . We had breakfast at the Mori Restaurant, just like yesterday. The breakfast buffet featured an abundance of vegetables from Nasu Highlands. You can also choose your favorite ingredients to make your own original sandwich. Of course, there is a wide selection that will please Japanese food lovers. The breakfast was also of high quality and delicious, with yogurt, smoothies, fruit, and more. By the way, there is a latte machine near the entrance to Mori Kitchen where you can get a hot cafe latte. After the breakfast buffet, the fun begins at 9am, when you can make your own soft serve ice cream. The hotel will definitely put your stomach at its limit… After checking out, why not try sightseeing in Nasu ? This museum primarily exhibits stained glass from the 1800s and 1900s. The interior, modeled after the mansion of a medieval English aristocrat, is quite a sight to behold. The shop is popular for its rich and smooth Imperial Villa Cheesecake, where you can purchase cheesecake and other sweets, as well as products exclusive to the main store. There’s also a market selling local vegetables and a restaurant specializing in local ingredients. The former Aoki Family Nasu Villa, a designated national cultural property, is adjacent, and you can tour this valuable Meiji-era building (for a fee). While a little outside the hotel area, Senbonmatsu Ranch is a tourist ranch with free admission and parking. Its vast grounds, roughly the size of 176 Tokyo Domes, offer a variety of leisure activities and gourmet food. It’s a great spot for families to interact with animals and savor delicious food , so be sure to stop by. Thank you for reading!
