銚子へ To Choshi
Good morning. Uh, it’s early. We’re out at 5:40 this morning. We’re going to go head out to a place called Choshi. Choshi is in Chiba. It’s the eastern most point of Chiba and maybe one of the most eastern most points of Japan. We might be close to 200 km by the time we finish. Maybe I can get some sleep on the train. All [Music] [Music] right. First right here along the river park. And so I’m guessing this is going to be my view. This is basically the whole way out. Looks like it’s probably going to be about a cross headwind. Maybe 2 to 3 km the whole way. All the way out. [Music] I think we’re in inside city and just connected up to the bigger river and it says 75 kilometers to the beach. Here we go. [Music] Going that way after looking for a convenience store. Getting a little hungry. It’s like almost 9:30. So, we’ve been riding for almost an hour and a half. Started at about well actual start is almost 8. I got off the river cuz says 28 km to the beach sign up there. Hopefully that’s true. [Music] It’s pretty insane. You can see all the windmills behind me. There’s a couple more in front of me as well. [Music] We’re uh right at 104 km. That’s a little farther than I thought, but that’s all right. Wow. We’ll be heading down there and we came from up there way up there, but we actually came down the coast, so didn’t quite come that way. This guy. [Music] [Music] All right, that’s it. The end. [Music] [Music] All right. Well, we made it out to the beach. I think um this is about as far as I’m going to go. Uh, we still got actually quite a ways to go. I’m not even close to where I’m supposed to turn off yet. Still got another maybe 30, 40 km, I think, before I got to make that turn to go in toward station. I wonder what these are. Look at that sunset. That was awesome, too. 10 more kilometers to Ja. Almost there. [Applause] [Music] All right, we’re just about into central Chiba. We got about 2ks to go. And I was just smashing into little section there. We had about 9K to go. I was going all out. That was fun though. Had some cars behind me. They didn’t know whether to pass me or not. [Music]
