Why A Swedish Gas Station Saved My Life! 🇸🇪
Check this out, guys. You can even charge your car on this ferry. That’s amazing. And it’s so bloody hot. So, the plan is to go to Stockholm. I just put it in Calimoto just with winding. I don’t know, it’s probably the best road. I don’t have too much time. It’s quite some, I think I will do it in 2 days. This happened when I turn it into
twisty. Basically the same. We can try. You’re too windy. Okay, man. Was nice meeting you. You have a good day. Let’s get out of here, guys. So warm. It was a 10 hour boat ride and I just slept on the couch a little bit. Was actually not too bad. And the sunrise in the morning was so cool. When seeing the wind turbines again in the middle of the sea, it’s so bizarre. Oh god, it’s so hot in here. Come on. Come on. Come on. Oh, much better. Okay, so we arrived in the town called Trelleborg and that was our ship, the Neil’s Hogerson. Yeah, I think I don’t need to worry about charging here in Sweden.
It should be easier than anywhere else. I think they’re pretty far ahead with the
EV vehicles and it hasn’t been a problem at all anywhere really here in Europe. Let’s see how fast I can make it to Stockholm. Just had to stop and sort out my SIM card. For some reason, it didn’t work anymore, so I had to buy a new one. I always use esim.net now because it’s the cheapest. I just paid uh it told me in pounds uh £21 for 60 GB in Europe. It’s it’s pretty good. I think it’s one of the best and cheapest. It’s about 700
kilometers to Stockholm. I don’t really know what’s on the way. I’ll find out. I only have like a few days to get to Estonia because then I have the appointment in the factory. I’m looking forward to it a lot. It will be very cool. So yeah, I’ll just keep going. See what happens on the road. All righty. We’re about 100 kilometer in and now it’s getting like the Sweden that I know. You know, with these narrow roads
and riding through the forest. There’s these red country houses
everywhere. It’s so cool. Cows. I think I’m really going to enjoy this
ride through the country. You know, wasn’t really planned. Like, this whole thing with Verge motorcycles was very spontaneous. Look these houses here. For me, that’s typical Swedish. And here the cows. When I reached out to Verge, I actually just wanted to go to the ABR festival. I had no motorcycle. Uh, and then I
liked it so much that I wanted to keep riding. And then I’ve been to Ireland with
Candy and and then I was like, “Yeah, might as well ride it back home.” But I will leave the bike in Estonia. And after that, I’ll go to Italy and test drive my bike for Africa. I’m really excited about that. I’m not sure how much I’m going to film of the test ride, but obviously I will take some video. Oeh woh woh. Okay. Okay. Vlogging and riding. I need to focus. I need to focus. Ah. But this is so much fun. Really? Wow. So yeah, but you will see the bike the moment I’ll start my journey to Africa. How about that road? How about that road? And I’m back in my custom mode, you know, full power, everything, but just uh medium regen. So it it feels a little bit smoother than the beast mode. The beast mode is kind of aggressive both with the acceleration and with the regeneration. I’m also going to release another video
series that I filmed right before the ABR. And I know that you will love it because I loved it so much and it’s quite special. You don’t see that so much on YouTube. So, you’ll you’ll absolutely love it. So, stay tuned. Be subscribed. So many things coming up this year. It’s insane. I actually wanted to take a break this year from riding and traveling and just, you know, like edit videos and just publish videos for you guys. But then so many opportunities came up. For me it’s always like I’m trying to say yes to as many things as I can. Whenever I said yes to something so far, I haven’t regretted it. So, I’ll try and keep doing that and do as much as I can. You only live once and and I try and do as many things as possible and I take you guys along. 30% battery. I’ll see you at the charging station. Okay, that probably won’t work. Hi. Yeah. Okay, there’s construction going. Huh. I still have 30 kilometers, so I can go to the next one basically. Might be a bit too far. No, that’s too far. And there’s another Lidl, but it’s uh the CCS is cut off. It’s going to be very tough. I’m sorry. I just wanted to ask, how long do you think you’re going to work on this? Probably a while. Uh it’s not able to charge.
– Huh? Not today.
– No, not today okay all right cool. Thank you. Uh maybe next week. Uh because they want to check something. Okay all right cool. Have a good day. Okay. [ __ ] Yeah. Super lucky. I found another charger here in Hässleholm right at the Eon headquarters. So, that’s quite uh handy. So, I’ll charge her up for 20 minutes, 30 minutes, maybe do some work, and then I’ll be back on my way. I don’t need to stay in the city. Okie dokie. Fully charged. To be quite honest, I’m a little bit knackered from that night on the boat. But I will do another 200 kilometer probably and then we’ll find an Airbnb. Yeah this is cool. Off towards Stockholm. Purple train. Got to be honest with you guys. Before I started using Calimoto, I didn’t think it would make that much of a difference because I always used Google before. And also last time I’ve been to Sweden on the Honda Dominator. But I got to say it’s insane these roads that it sends me on. It’s just so cool. Sometimes it goes a little bit on the main road, but only to go right back on these back roads here. It’s really uh fantastic and I see other bikers using those roads as well, locals. So, there must be something about them. But it’s really, really great. And you’ve seen it this morning. I didn’t really plan a route or anything. I just put in Stockholm and now it sends me on these tiny back roads, which are, by the way, really good quality. Better than some of the main roads in
the UK for sure. But I also have newly adjusted suspension that also helps a lot. And it’s absolutely great fun. I could
adjust it to even twisty it’s called. Now I’m on winding roads, but I think I’m doing just fine with these ones here. Whenever I have those kind of roads, I always put the bike in beast mode because the regen is super high. That saves you from using the brakes too much. It really decelerates quite abruptly, which is good. Oh, wow. Wow, these houses are so beautiful. Uh, look, now I’m back on the main road. But they reckon only for a kilometer and then we go back to a normal road. Yeah makes you feel alive these roads. I love it. Okay, so I stopped here for charging again and to find an Airbnb. I found a like a holiday home for €45 a
night was pretty good. Also, if I ride like this, like pretty kind of fast and through the back roads. Uh, I get about 150 kilometers from the 12 kW hours I always put in on the DC chargers. So obviously that would be more if I would charge domestically because it puts in like 5 kwatt hours more. It would do it too here, but it would take so much longer now because after 90% the charging slows down a lot. And doesn’t really make sense to charge any longer. But the cool thing is at the Airbnb there’s a EV charger. That’s pretty awesome. So yeah, let’s go there. I will probably arrive there at like 4:00 or 5, have time to rest and then I can make my way up to Stockholm and then take the ferry again. Well, seems like I made a good
decision to stop quite early today. It’s about 5 and the weather looks really ominous a little bit. Also 1% battery left. I just made it. All right, let’s see how
that is here. Look quite cool the house. Uh yeah, I think it will be there.
I think it will be this one. Some campers here. Okay, I can see the EV charger plug that I cannot access because I don’t have that cable anymore. Couldn’t fit it in my bag. That’s all
right. Might be able to charge differently. This is absolutely massive,
guys. Uh, it was just €45. Love it. Let’s Let’s see
if I can plug in the bike. Okay, we’re charging. I asked the Airbnb host. He didn’t reply it, but should be all right. I’m going to charge her up. I’m going to edit a bit. I’m going to sleep and I see you guys in the morning. I could get used to this
view really. It’s awesome. What a great Airbnb this was. Anyway, I need to go. I have to pack up my [ __ ] and then we’ll have to take another ferry going to Estonia today. Let’s do it. And yeah, that was yesterday’s ride. Tallink Silja. That’s the port. Definitely fast today. It’s about 5 hours to the port, but it leaves at 5:30, so I have to be there like 1 and 1/2 hours beforehand. So, I should easily make that, but I just don’t want to risk it. I also have to charge because it’s 350 km or 360 km. So, we take it easy, but we’re going the fast way for sure. Vee, that’s one of your last rides with me. Once we’re in Estonia, we’re going to visit the factory, and then I’ll be off
to new adventures on a different bike. So, yeah, I’ll basically bring the bike back home to where it was built. I can’t really ride this one here to Africa, that’s for sure. And also I have a few other things planned before going to Africa. But I will be back on this machine here in October. 4th or 5th of October. I will take part in a rally in Germany. Electric car and motorcycle rally. It’s called e Cannonball. So I’ll get the bike again. One weird thing about the Koso is you can only reset the trip when you stand. Yeah, I just wanted to reset it just
to know what we’re doing. So, yeah, I’ll be going to the E Cannonball rally in Germany. That’s going to be a lot of fun. I’m going to do it on this. I have no idea what to expect from that. It’s my first time doing anything like it. And as I mentioned before, I’m going to go back to India for a couple weeks. And I also have to test ride my new bike for Africa. I will do that in Italy. And Sweden is just so stunningly beautiful. You have all these lakes everywhere. Like it is so many lakes. It’s crazy. Oh, and beautiful roads. Obviously, a lot of forests. It was actually super nice staying in this apartment. I really enjoyed it. And it was big and I could work and it was just awesome. I can see myself doing some holiday or something like that at some point in Sweden When I’m a little bit older maybe. I mean, people tell me I’m on holiday all the time anyway. So, yeah. But for now, I want to keep riding my bike. Wow, look at this stunning road. Yeah, [ __ ] the fast way. I put it into winding for now because
I kind of want to enjoy the country a little bit more before I leave it already again. Look at that. Sweden. What a beauty. Whoa. And I have plenty of time so I can enjoy this. And it’s also my last ride on Vee probably. Once I reach Tallinn I’ll just go and visit the factory. I’ll probably meet everybody from the company. That’s going to be super fun.
And I can show you around a little bit. Show you how the bike is built. I’m looking forward very much to that. Ahh what a bend. Yeah. Yeah. Calimoto did it again. You put it into winding and then you get these fantastic motorcycle roads. Just insane. Oh yeah. And since I adjusted the suspension,
it’s everything is way more smooth. And also the shaking went away a little bit. It’s still a little bit there. It’s still a little bit uh shaky, especially when you go a little bit faster. But I guess it has something to do with where the motor is positioned in the wheel. And to be quite fair, like I’m not a racer.
Like I don’t have so much experience in like.. I don’t know, I’ve never been on a track or anything like that, so I can’t really tell. But it feels very good now. I’m very happy. What a great bike this is. And I
know it costs a lot of money, but It’s also something really
special. You cannot forget that. Yeah, I think it’s going to rain down on me pretty hard in a little bit, so I better get out my rain suit. Ah, bummer. I had so much sun all the time, but I think like everybody deserves a little bit of rain every now and then. Yeah, those clouds, they look pretty pretty mean. Now let it rain down on me. Really not impressed with the range today. I just drove 140 kilometer and I’m already at 8%. Not quite sure. It got super cold. Like it’s now 14°. Uh, and it was a strong headwind and I was going for it quite a bit. Uh, there are the chargers, but still it should be still more. Okay, but.. Oh, no. That’s for trucks. Huh? Something different. Okay, trucks have their own now. Okay. Didn’t rain too much
luckily, so that’s cool. Not quite sure why the range was so bad today, but yeah, maybe just the BMS being a little bit weird. It could also be. Uh yeah, I’ll let her charge up now, have a coffee and then we’re going to Stockholm. Easy peasy. We do a highway rest of the way. Makes no sense in the rain. Uh maybe hold on.
– Yeah. Maybe we go here. Uh we use this. And maybe try now. You already plugged it in
before. Yeah, we tried.
– And it didn’t work. Didn’t work. No.
– So may because I activated with the app. So maybe it could be that this is not working for some reason. But it should actually. Do you have another card? Wait. Wait. Now. Now you can plug it in. You can
plug it in now. We can plug it in. Okay. Thank you. Yeah. No worries. No worries.
– Thank you so much. Have a lovely day.
– Yeah. Let’s see if it works. Oh, okay. It works.
– Yeah. Yeah sometimes it’s just a little bit. You’re welcome.
– Have a lovely day. – You, too. Yeah, guys. The struggle is definitely real, not just for me. But yeah, always happy to help, but sometimes you just have to try. Like a couple times until it works. 99% put in 12 kwatt hours. That’s what I basically always do at the fast chargers. That will get me all the way to
Stockholm for sure. But I will plug her in again so then she’s full before we go on the boat. And we have enough time anyway. And the rain stopped. My last day and I get rained on. Oh boy. Oh boy. Oh boy. Oh yeah. This is awesome. This is so awesome. I love that. Hell yeah. That makes so much sense. Yeah, that’s just so lucky now that they have a freaking solar roof over the charging stations. I love it. So, I can wait it out a little bit here. Hopefully, it will stop. At least I can charge and it’s dry and it’s just good. That just makes so much sense. And I was quite lucky. It wasn’t on my maps from the plug surfing app. I just got out here because I was freaking cold. Uh it’s only 12° and it’s so cold. But yeah, we’re charging. I’ll just just wait just wait it out. Oh boy. Okay, it charged 10 kW hours. 50 minutes and the rain
stopped. How cool is that? Yeah, guys, this is why. Yeah, it does that sometimes. It just shuts off. This is why gas stations should build the electric charging stations right next to them because gas stations actually know what they’re doing. This makes so much sense to build like a roof and you could can even put solar panels on top of it. Nobody wants to stand in the rain and charge, even cars. Makes no sense. All right. Ah, that was actually quite good. Only thing is the rain moves towards Stockholm. So, going to get wet again, but I don’t have to charge anymore. It’s only 52 km to the port. I’m not wet yet. That’s good. Just my pants they are not really good I bought them in a supermarket because I only brought the Touratech rain jacket. I wish I would have my Gortex
stuff with me cuz now it’s quite cold. And this could also be why the range isn’t that great today because the temperature dropped like 15° together with the rain and stuff. I think that really affects the range of the bike. But we’re okay. We’re good, guys. Fully charged. And now back on the autobahn. Let’s go. Ah, wet gloves. I hate it. Yeah, I knew it. It would rain. Oh my
god, I’m just so soaked. And there’s so much traffic here in Stockholm. It’s not even funny. Welcome to Stockholm. Yeah, but it’s only 16 minutes left. But
at least everybody knows that the bike is indeed waterproof. The faulty sensor from the
other motor didn’t have anything to do with moisture being in there because they tested it out and there was no moisture. I don’t know exactly yet what the problem was. I hope they will tell me at the factory, but they will put in the other motor once it’s repaired for sure. Oh god. Then again, that could have been my weather in Ireland and the UK. And I was so blessed with sun the whole time. Ah that would have been really really uncomfortable experience. But now we’re good. Soon at the ferry. I can’t wait. Actually like a 12 hour boat ride, I think. Something like that. The ferry. We made it. That was freaking miserable. I’m so wet and so cold. But I guess that’s all part of the adventure. Well, we did it. There’s the ferry. I think so. Yeah, the ticket cost me €160 including a four bed berth, but I think it’s just the the bed in the berth. I have to share it
probably. Let’s see if I’m going to use it even. Check in all vehicles. I guess we count for all vehicles. Yeah. Tallinn. Still bloody raining. Uh from Germany. Desert X. That’s a cool cool motorcycle. He gave her a paper. I don’t have a paper. I just have the booking number. That will be all right. Hello. Do you need the booking number? Line number
two. Thank you. Thank you so much. Okay. Okay. That’s an electric truck. Oh, that’s so sick. Wow. Made it. Oh my god. What a ride. Last two hours just rain,
rain, rain. But we did it. We did it. Left side on the vessel.
– Left side. Okay. Huh?
– Uh, left. – Left yeah, left I love ferry crossings, but not in the rain. Baltic queen. Okay. Okay. Okay. Okay. Oh, we did it. We’re inside. Go back? Good. Thank you. Welcome to my humble abode. I’m not
quite sure if I have this all to myself or I have to share it. They
wouldn’t do that, right? That would be that would be so weird to share this with strangers. Like we have a bathroom. Not bad. And they have like all sorts
of like stages and DJs and it’s going to be a fun boat ride, I reckon. See you later.
You won’t believe what it takes to ride an electric Verge TS Pro across Sweden.
Gas stations know what they’re doing and this one saved my soaked ass big time today!
From sleeping on a ferry couch to charging dramas, rainstorms, and epic Swedish backroads — this ride to Stockholm had everything. Calimoto sent me on unreal forest twisties, I found the cheapest Airbnb with its own EV charger, and I pushed the Verge TS Pro to its limits. After hours of riding in the rain I made it to the ferry, thank god!
Now it’s soontime to say goodbye to Vee and head toward Estonia, the factory, and my next big adventure.

Cold weather and headwinds reduce range. . .
Sooo effin excited to see your next episodes 🫡☀️
Will we get to see the end of the Eve series? You could upload 1 a week on a Thursday and call it throw back thursdays.
Maybe I missed it but what's happened or happening with Eve?
Charging charging and charging, time for a real bike!💪🏻
marc saved your life? i hope your mom did not see this title, what would she go through if she saw it
Look where you want to go! Don't focus on the outside of the corner…
Another really enjoyable video Marc!
The Swedish landscapes look very similar to those we have here in the Pacific NW of the US.
Take care.
Hi Marc, im Sorry but I find these series boring . Old man stuff …
Sublime editing and music
Onward and upward
Great Vid
Subscribed > Greets from Austria > Ride save! > Und schau daß es dich nicht auf die Fresse haut! 😅
Love watching your adventures Marc. I am hoping you will release the concluding adventures you had with Eve, if you ever get the time in your very busy schedule. As I have followed you throughout the journeys you had on her and would love to know how it ended.
Instead of solar panels they have to make rain panels 🤣
Marc, teste ride em Itália, vai ser uma Ducati 😉✌
That bend was insane ❤🫠
Hello from a Swedish biker and welcome to Sweden.
You were in Hässleholm in front ICA Maxi, the store where we do our grocety shopping!
I saw your video when you ride in the Swedish forests. Just a tip: watch out for animals, they often come across the road.
Have a good trip.
Bro please don't mind but have to ask… did you have any major accidents in the world road ride or any time because it's my dream to do that on my bike too and some months ago near my home I had two accidents and last one I broke my hand I'm fine now.. I'll get my bike some days but I'm really afraid that it will happen again or any other ride cause I live in India the traffic the people here are crazy and you rode here in india nothing happened how do you do it?
Loved this vlog, Sweden is stunning!
Looking forward to the up coming videos and the rest of the Asia series 😀.
Remember to take time out for Marc too 🫡
Catch you on the next one 👍🏻
While I was watching your vid, by brain suddenly said "why is it "air" B&B? And apparently two of the founders of the company put down an air mattress in their living room and set up a bed and breakfast! 😂 What an hilarious start for a company!
Marc
Was ist mit einem Tech video?
Charger hier, und charger there?
Wie ist die Situation?
Du warst an Sooo vielen Chargern.
Wie ist deine Erfahrung?
Du bist der Charge Master!
Wir wollen das wissen!!
Great trip and the roads look amazing in Sweeden.
Hi Marc,
Just an interesting sad fact about Talinn,It’s where Joey Dunlop the road racer from Northern Ireland was killed.famous for his wins on The Isle Of Man.
I think there is a memorial in Talinn for him.
Anyway ride safe .
All the best..Pat
All the electric charger problems would stress me out. Great footage though 😀💪🏼
You are very bad at following the speed limit… 😂 Driver license revoked speeds here in Sweden.
Did you watch your speed? The fine is very high there😂
Come to sweden in kungsbacka
25:59 – good thing you got new tires. Slicks in the rain are not fun on a motorcycle.
Relax Sweden is safe:-) – and the rest of the nordics. If you need charging, Norway are best in the world. It’s all over. Don’t be so dramatic to get clicks. Cause content is what this is about.
Hello Marc, pour l'Afrique tu vas rouler sur une moto thermique je suppose ou bien vas tu le faire avec EVE 🤫.
Ride safe ✌️
news
Hi, viel Spaß beim bei der Rallye und anderen Projekten. ❤
What if restoring your dominator and taking back to your next travels like itchy boots
Did you dance? 😂
what happened with eve? i still want to know what happened between thailand and uk
👍🍀🍀🍀🤗
Please tell us what happened to eve😢
on an ebike you cannot warming your gloves on the engine. 😏
Awesome episode mate. Looking forward to your upcoming adventures. Thanks for the content, we know how hard you work. Know your busy and patiently awaiting the final days of EVE. Stay safe.🤘
Did I miss something, or has he abandoned the New Zealand journey?🙄
Are you going to get MV Agusta for Africa 😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😊
💚💙❤🙌 Will Definitely miss your P.O.V of this beautiful front end of the bike – the red and black gliding through the fantastic emerald green countryside , the forests ,the silver rains and deep blue lakes n oceans of England, Scotland , Ireland and N. W Europe – such a wonderful part of earth with lovely people living in pretty homes amidst such fabulous surroundings.
Thank you so much Marc for sharing- giving us a view of the possible future- cleaner, greener, quieter, ecologically harmonious……..Thank you….ALL the very best for the future adventures.will look forward to them. BTW India at the end of the monsoons is now covered with the freshest emerald green too..fab time to ride.
Now hope someone invents the easy to replace tyre that cannot and will not puncture …also proper bike body protection and handle bar lever guards with a dual sided bike stand that does'nt allow the bike to topple over and crack up so easily…pay so much and risk so much travelling to faraway remote places and a little wind destroys the expensive bike with so many bells n whistles but no basic fall protection – ridiculous. have to come up with cool solutions for these three main issues. Mainly -No puncture Tyre – Please somebody out there – do it – its about time.
I have never had any problems with Circle in Denmark or Norway. The app works really well and its always a little cheaper.
Quite Swedish – assembling a product and trying to figure out instructions.
slow down you were going tar foo fast
Please don't settle in Sweden. We already have too many immigrants.
First time seeing your channel and i subscribed directly, got flashbacks through your video of riding in sweden, born and raised here. Amazing roads and views, i hate riding in the rain myselfs but it's only horrible if you don't have good enough gear for it. I was going to skip in the video but it was entertaining enough so i watched the full 34 minutes lol. Good job man, ride safely. 👍
