Cycling around Kamakura + Japan Pickups

What is up y’all? We’re going to Kamakuro. It’s the last day here. So, we’re about to meet Nigo at the station. It’s going to be very nice. Weather is looking great. Got this nice fit on. It’s a little hot, but you know, it’s a cool scenery. Yeah, we’re about to take the train. 1 hour ride. So, I’ll catch you guys there. Peace. Let’s go, bro. Touchdown Kamakura Beach. [Music] We got some crispy crispy for the beach. Weather is 10 out of 10. Probably the best since I came here, bro. Bro doesn’t drink coffee. Just matcha. Does he really like it? I like it. [Music] Damn, bro. Donuts, coffee, beach. Yeah. God damn. God damn. All right. Cheers. Vibes. Good vibes. gone. We just got the bikes on driving around Kamakura to Sushi Beach. Sushi Beach. Um, it’s right next to it. I I have never been, but uh yeah, I think it’s going to be super cool, a little less crowded. You got like a nice ocean view. And yeah, got to watch out to film, but it’s super chill. [Music] Heat. Heat. [Music] What is good guys? We just arrived at this beautiful seaside view. It’s called drop in. Yeah, we just rode here by bike. It was amazing. Kind of gave me Nosima vibes uh through the like neighborhoods and I think we all got pretty much the same meal. The shrimp sandwich with the cajun fries. And yeah, we’re sitting here at this counter just chilling and we are right across Kamakura and Zushi Beach. So after we finish this meal, we just drive further and check out this Zushi Beach, the cool bus stop they have. And yeah, couldn’t ask for better weather, man. Right. Got the food with the view, bro. Yeah. All got the same meal. Got the Cajun shrimp with the fries. Just ordered the Coke. You guys know me. Last day. Quick convenini run. We just passed by Sushi Beach. We got our bikes here. Lemon tea. Always dehydrated, guys. And uh yeah, it’s chill. It’s fun. [Music] We just got some orange juice here at this very nice cafe. Love the tires. Great great place. Uh yeah, pretty cool. If you ever plan to come to Tokyo, definitely come here. Rent a bike. Especially like this part of Kamakura like Zushi the I think neighbor the town next to it. Got to go there with the bike or even with the bus in the train ride. Super scenery. And um yeah unfortunately my ass forgot my swim trunks at home. Like for what reason I’m making some if I don’t bring them here. So uh yeah couldn’t swim. But uh yeah it’s beautiful by bike. Now finishing this cup of orange juice. Then we see uh it’s a beautiful nice day. So uh you enjoy it so far. What is up y’all? I hope you guys are doing well. Uh you’re probably curious what I picked up in Japan. We back we back at home back in the studio and a lot of work stacked up. So, it’s great to be back. But nevertheless, let me show you what I picked up in Japan. All right, starting off with a jacket. I was not necessarily this one, but in general, more bell jackets. Uh, we don’t really have these in Europe. I mean, we can order them from Japan, but you got to pay all these duties, taxes. Yeah, I picked up this Gortex two layer uh shell jacket for only 21k yen, which is around 130 $140. And yeah, it does a job. We went to Akoba with this one into heavy rain. And um yeah, it features like a nice mell gray embroidery, waterproof zipper of course, shock cords, a great fit, and um yeah, I think it goes well with anything. Everybody needs a shell jacket in their closet. I like to wear it all black just like today. Might put it on later cuz you never know. It’s going to rain right now. Right now it’s sunny but you never know. So this pickup number one I picked it up in Mont Bell Shibuya. Pretty cool store. If you’re in Shibuya, Tokyo, check it out. It has seven or six floors. There’s like a mountain. This pickup number one, we got this hel. I’m wearing a Henlay myself right now. T-shirt though. And I bought this one in uh Tokyo as well. It’s like a two-tone handle. Very very white neck. [Music] Wear it with like baggy trousers. Just chill. Um you know like chill type of day. Nothing too chic, but uh definitely a cool piece. I think picked it up for like 10 bucks in Shibuya 2 at Jam. The store we went to 20 times in every city cuz it’s good vintage store and they have it in every city. It’s like a chain. So, uh yeah, it’s cool. It’s cool. And now, you know, bro, something, bro, at this point, I’m feeling like it lowkey feels ironic to pull out the same shoes every time cuz it’s always power boot or chucks. But anyways, let’s start with the Chucks. We got these Chuck70s in a very, very vibrant red colorway. I like these a lot cuz you know Chuck70s the thicker also like slightly cream creams cream laces and then the vibrant red it goes amazing cuz I wasn’t a big fan of wearing Chicago. I still have these but I haven’t I should wear these. I should start wearing these again. But uh I see myself wearing this with a jacket I’m putting on which you will guys see next vlog cuz I’m going to do a shadow jacket too. Outdoor jacket waterproof. So yeah, just one guess it’s blue and I think red and blue is a very underrated color combination. Just wearing these with the carpenters right here that are releasing next week by the way which I’m going out for to shoot a trailer campaign in like 2 hours. Uh it’s going to be funny. Next pickup is a paraboot. The parab boot rain. A super simple timeless loafer. Uh, probably one of the best loafer silhouettes I have seen. Uh, when looking for a loafer, I picked this up used for 180 bucks. I think these are retailing for $400, $500. So 180. Bought these um pretty similar to the Michaels, their signature silhouette. If you have if you wear like trousers, but if you wear shorts, they definitely stand out. So that’s the two footwear pickups I did. And now coming to accessories. We bought this I haven’t unboxed it yet. I bought this capital bandana just cuz I don’t know where my other one is. I bought 2 years ago. But um yeah. [Music] Yeah. I was initially looking for cool pants cuz I really really like my brown carpenters but I didn’t really like the selection they had during this time. So I just bought a bandana and this is a nonjapan pickup but I ordered it I think two months ago and it just hit the mail. This is a finally a repress press of the channel orange from Frank Ocean. I think it’s the first ever press if I’m not wrong. Still have it sealed, but I really really like the cover golden album. I might unbox it and yeah, listen to some tunes cuz it’s been a while since I used my record player to be honest, even though I still got new piece. You know what I’m saying? So, uh, that’s about the pickups I think. And let me know what you guys think about this video. Low key, I didn’t even spend that much on all these pieces. Maybe even less than 500. So, uh, thanks for watching. I hope you guys have an amazing day. I’m going I’m bringing my ass out now to do some work for you. And yeah, with this being said, thanks for watching. Peace.

Always making sure to visit Kamakura and Zushi on my last day of the trip. A beautiful surftown just an hour away from Tokyo.

Now back home and ready to work on new releases and creative projects! I’ll keep you guys updated.

Thanks for supporting me!
